“Wonderful coffee, fresh pizza, the cutest outdoor atmosphere in a quiet little town. Definitely a great place to relax and grab a pizza with my kiddos.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! The courtyard is clean, very spacious and definitely a great place for kiddos to spend time while parents grab a quick coffee. The owner is super kid friendly too which is a plus!”
“We went for the first time today and were very impressed! It was the first time I ever loved every wine I tried at a tasting! It will have to be for special occasions because it a tad pricey (only $28 and $32 for most) since we usually share an entire bottle most nights! Shhhh! We will be enjoying this for Valentine’s Day and buying it again for sure!”

“The breakfast burrito was huge, and delicious! Had ours with bacon, pico, and cheese. Large, homemade tortilla stuffed with eggs and our choices. Their spicy hot sauce was just perfect. It’s a food truck, but shade to eat in the car.”
“Oma Leen's offers world class cuisine in Hico! The restaurant is beautiful. It's modern with an elegant ambience. The menu is creative. The food is delicious and the ingredients are fresh and quality. You can tell that a lot of thought and creativity goes into putting their menus together. It's worth the 2 hour drive from Dallas to eat here. I highly recommend it.”

“My eggplant parmigiana was home made perfect. This is a no-frills, old style café with genuine Italian heritage somewhere. In a growing town where you can easily spend $50 for a good meal at one of the two or three really fancy-schnancie places in town, it's nice to know you can get your gourmet in with a $9.95 dish as good as anywhere in Italy! The bread is right out of the oven and light as a feather - although nobody offered butter or olive oil and garlic with it. The salad was plenty big, very fresh, if a little unimaginative. The atmosphere is small town typical with taxi yellow walls and painting prints from a Motel 6 garage sale, but clean as a pin and pleasant. Oh, and the waitress could be Miss Texas. So it's a win win.”

“Awesome place to stop in while passing through, don’t be concerned by the fact that it shares a building with a gas station, food is incredible especially the beans. Must eat in Hico”

“This place holds it own against any Dfw restaurant! The menu is incredible, well thought out, and executed. We had dinner and brunch there. I had a beef tenderloin chicken fried steak that was hands down the best I ever had. The steak my wife had was perfect. The red chile chicken and brisket cheddar biscuit for brunch was amazing. Desserts were top level. We had a bananas foster cake and chocolate torte that rivals Eddie V's. We also stayed at the hotel and watched a concert nearby. Great little weekend getaway. 5 stars”
“Cute place! The bathroom had a bit of a door lock issue, and the paper towels had run out, but the drinks were affordable and good. We had a cold brew with vanilla and cream and a chai latte. Zucchini bread was yummy! They had outdoor seating with swings and tables, and the indoor area was very spacious. It used to be an old house. They even had a small area with toys for kids to play. Didn't get pictures because it was a quick stop.”

“What a nice surprise! We were on the fence about where to get dinner in Hico. We decided to try BarbaCelli’s. So delicious! The mozzarella sticks had a nice crispy breading and cheesy center and perfect sauce. Our pizzas were perfect, I got margarita and my husband got pepperoni. Perfect char on the crust, maybe had a bit of Parmesan. It was so tasty especially after a day of hiking at Inks Lake! The employees were so nice and we could actually have a conversation in the restaurant. We will go back!”

“We came here after church and it wasn't busy at all. We got seated right away and decided to try the buffet. They had rice and beans, enchiladas, tamales, chicken fajitas, taco meat, flautas, and menudo! Menudo on the buffet! All the fixings; lime, cilantro, pico, lettuce, 2 types of cheese, 3 different salsas, chips, fresh fruit, and dessert! All for under 35 for 2!”

“Always good food, And a great spot to catch breakfast, lunch or pie...Texas friendly place where, you just might make a new friend sitting there. They didn't have steak and eggs on the menu, but they made it anyway...My hot black coffee never got cold...Parking: There is overflow parking across the street, large dirt lot with huge shade trees, so don't get discouraged if the small parking lot in front is full ( usually is)..”
