Benny Chow’s restaurant was a phenomenal experience. When my husband and I first arrived, we can tell it is an upscale establishment. It was a busy Friday night but the hostess was friendly. She said our table wasn’t quite ready, but we were welcome to wait at the bar. She will come get us once our table was ready. I ordered a watermelon drink called China Club Nights. The drink was delicious. My husband ordered Amaretto Sour and it was very good. Our bartender knew her stuff. We only waited at the bar for about 5 minutes before our table was ready. The restaurant was decorated beautifully with red and gold. Our table was situated in a great spot near the front towards middle of the restaurant. Our waiter was courteous and professional. He anticipated our every need. My husband love appetizers spicy chicken wonton and smoked brisket egg roll. I especially loved the Chef Tommy Style Scallion Pancakes. It was light and crispy with yummy flavor. For the main course, we enjoyed General Tzo’s Half Chicken, Black Pepper Beef and Broccoli, Peking Duck Noodles and XO Seafood Fried Rice. Everything was fresh and delicious. We finished off with the Ice Cream Sandwich Trio for dessert. Omg. I can tell this dessert was made of homemade ice cream. It was so lovely even though we were stuffed from dinner. This is my new “special occasion” restaurant. Although I would recommend you save up, the entire experience of Benny Chow’s was well worth it. The atmosphere, the service, the attention to detail, the food…was all excellent.
