Howdy Hot Chicken

Usually not very busy but the food is so good! They do the Spicy and sweet mixture very well. Chicken is spicy but the coleslaw is sweet, which balances out the sandwich very well. I always get a sandwich while my husband loves their loaded fries. I used to live in Houston a couple of months back and dine in at Howdys Hot chicken REFULARLY. I'm talking once per week almost. The excess amount of exercise I had to maintain to continuously enjoy this food place could not have been more worth it. I still visit Houston from time to time, and every time I do, I go to my favorite spot, Howdys. The hot is hot but still delicious! I have a high tolerance for heat so it was excellent for me but I can see how others might be intimidated by the hot lolFood was great as was the service- Katherine took our order and she was kind and patient as it was our first time here! Our order was delivered quickly and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Definitely coming here again!
