I’d recommend this place for any special celebrations or occasions. My husband and I visited Houston and came across Mamajuana downtown.Unforgettable, high-quality experience for any foodie. The stuffed cassava with shrimp and lobster can easily be described as a poetic combination of delicate flavors and textures. Juan was my server. Great dude! He was awesome! The food was so good! I had a margarita, the crab stuffed salmon, and a mamajuana roll. Everything was so great, and I definitely will come back here! I travel for work but will make it a POINT to always come to mamajuana for dinner every time I am back in Houston!

Food was good and unique DJ was a vibe on Sunday Mimosa tower was really good — well mixed and not watered down! Service was good overall; however, there were a couple issues. Felt there was a lack of communication, no apologies given, and nothing was offered due to the hassle of the couple of issues.
