“If one follows my reviews of BOBS, you will find several things that are CONSISTENT! A welcoming Valet, Courteous and Pompt Check in, A bartending staff that knows your drink preference and is ready to serve your guests. Management that welcomes the diner and thanks them for being there. A wait person that is professional, knows the specials and is educational on wine pairing. A wine specialist that will add input on wine decision and all this attention in a restaurant packed in both dining rooms and at the bar. They have such a well run group of staff, cooks, service personnel and check in. Every day, they get what they give. The give respect, service, friendship, great food and drink and the diner responds back to the Bobs team, with Thanks, Friendship, Repeat business and a happy time! The most recent times, have been groups. We planned for 6 at 7:30. It morphed to 10. Bobs was able to put two tables together and what was to be a celebration of my grand daughters Dance event, turned into a belated Mothers day celebration for two moms and a birthday last night. So, four celebrations at one table. Bobs delivered on the JOYS. The night started with cocktails and RELEVANT wine! Get this it is incredible! Bacon wrapped shrimp YUM. Crostinis , a new item outstanding. Shirmp cocktail fresh and good. Caesar salad for me Outstanding. Everyone had salads. Steaks all around! Mine was perfect and so flavorful. Few "doggie" bags. The 4 children ate all their steaks and spinach and potatoes, too. And desserts were 2 carrot cakes and the bobs brownie! HOLY COW All the cars were ready and the night was done. Groups, Business, Special occasions, Dates with wife or significant other, eating or drinking at the bar...this is a Plano GEM, a PLANO MUST and I can only convey business, life, memories and great times are made at Bobs Plano.”

“I am traveling on business and had the good fortune to dine at Bavette Grill last night. The experience was basically perfect from start to finish, and I will certainly be back! The service was absolutely outstanding, and frankly set the tone for everything that followed. I arrived perhaps only 15 minutes before closing time, and asked somewhat sheepishly whether the kitchen was still open. The hostess could not have been kinder or more welcoming as she answered in the affirmative and showed me to a booth. The busboy, who was super friendly and helpful, asked whether I wanted water, and he then brought it quickly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. The decor is tasteful and understated, the ceilings are high, and the dining area is spacious. The music was a mix of jazz and vocal covers of some of my favorite songs, including Clocks and Wicked Game. The volume was just right, too; audible and enjoyable, but not loud. My waiter for the evening was Kenneth F, and he provided outstanding service throughout the meal. He was friendly, professional, and courteous, and his service was attentive without being remotely intrusive. I did not feel rushed in the least, despite the late hour. It was he who recommended the French Dip Au Jus when I asked about a couple of alternatives, and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the fries as well, and one of the other servers (he could have been a food runner) mentioned that they make their own ketchup. After I finished my entrée, Kenneth asked if I would like dessert, and then walked me through the choices. The chocolate cheesecake was simply amazing, and I can recommend it heartily. As I was leaving, I spoke briefly with the manager, to compliment Kenneth, and also to rave about the positivity and professionalism of the other staff who I had encountered that evening. When I was younger, I worked in restaurants as a busboy, dishwasher, pizza chef, and waiter, and I know excellent service when I see it. These employees seemed genuinely happy to be there, and they were engaged and attentive. The manager was grateful for the feedback, and he confirmed to me that what I described was the culture that they seek to foster at the restaurant. It shows!”

“We went to Eddie V's to celebrate my husband. Our server, Janaya, was on point all night! The live entertainment contributed wonderfully as well. I highly recommend the crab cakes, lobster tacos, butterfish entree special, filet flight special, crab fried rice and extra seasoned/charred lamb chops. For dessert, the bananas foster buttercake was moist & delicious along with the creme brulee. Pricey, however we had an enjoyable evening and highly recommend this place.”

“My husband and I dined here with my MIL. The 3 of us celebrated our respected wedding anniversaries because my husband and I got married on what would’ve been the 50th wedding anniversary for my in-laws. Since my FIL past away, we’ve continued to make sure he is still a big part of all of us. This means a lot to my MIL. Our whole experience at Knife Plano was incredible! We were greeted warmly as we entered and were seated. Our main server, Jason, was prompt and smooth as he catered to us. The appetizer we chose, shrimp cocktail was the best we have had. Our steak entrees were perfectly cooked and paired well with the side dish of onion rings. I ordered the salmon and would order it again without hesitation. Our dessert was crème brûlée and the portion was bigger than we’ve had at other fine dining establishments. That was delicious, too! We look forward to dining here again very soon!”

Asian inspired mural with semi industrial semi art deco style ceiling and lighting that come with a very varied choice of music. Overall gives for an interesting atmosphere.A small hiccup with the prosciutto e funghi that is actually not made of prosciutto but ham (oven baked or otherwise).Overall pretty satisfied. Management is very nice as they covered our desert for free due to the small garnish issue.Would recommend for a chill pizza evening on a Thursday.”

“I'm a widowed single mom who is paranoid about calling contractors for help with my homes because of REALLY bad past experiences and being taken advantage of. This company was on the job within less than 30 minutes total and very FAIRLY priced as compared to the other companies I called yesterday. Keep in mind that I had already called four other plumbers, one of which never even called me back. As you can see from the picture, I called on Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection at 9:07am, and they were in, out, and DONE by 9:35am. While I certainly hope that I never have to call on them again, lol, if I do, I WILL! Thanks guys!”

Great crew, both servers and cooks/chefs - except for the one server that can’t stay in the restaurant and get completed food order delivered to her table, didn’t check on us one time, never said a word except a few mumbles, we knew menu better than she did - need I say more?”

The food is always great and prepared on time, lines go quickly dine in or drive through, barely any mess ups, clean atmosphere, and the young workers there are so kind and respectful. This has been my place at childhood, and I’m extremely grateful to have been introduced to the right Whataburger franchise. Do yourself a favor and don’t go to any other Whataburger. “The drive thru was packed so we decided to go in. We walked in an no one greeted us even though atkeast 3 people made eye contact from doing drive thru orders. A young girl was clearly helping with the front counter as she handed a lady in the lobby her food. BUT STILL NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of atleast someone will be with you or hi or something. By this time it's 2 other people behind me. And no acknowledgement. I guess she sees the line forming and goes to get the person that running the register for the lobby. She was young so I get this needs to be training opportunity. Management please train your staff to atleast acknowledge people if they are working another area so the customer doesn't feel annoyed. Young people clearly are not taught at home so that is where yiu train. We use to have a restaurant so I see how these teens or even adults come in. Yiu have to train them on everything. But the basics is greeting customers.”

“Are used to work at Jack’s in the early 70s in Oceanside California I love their tacos I just moved to Texas from Ohio we had two Jack in the box in Ohio that open about two or three years ago. They were about 80 to 90 miles from where I lived in Columbus but, now that I live in Texas it’s my new favorite fast food restaurant love the tacos love the teriyaki bowls love Jack’s”

You have to order from the kiosk and I do wish they had all of their drinks and condiments in one place. “Innovative unique flavors made unlike anything I’d ever had! I am a lifelong ice cream and frozen yogurt fan: this was in top 1% of my faves and that’s saying a lot! The proprietor makes new flavors every two weeks and they are not copycats of anything I’ve ever had. You have the option of a mini cup or bigger cup or a waffle cone. They make the waffle cones too! I got the red velvet flavored cone, but she said the green tea was good with fruity sorbets. I got two choices and she blended them. Surprisingly I got one free topping. Love caramel and I think they make that too (this one thing I’m not certain). What I loved is it was lightly drizzled around the soft serve blended flavors in my red velvet cone. The woman was delightful and told me to come back even if it was to just say Hi. Surprisingly, I felt that to be a sincere invitation! What a delightful experience! I will be back!”

“I cannot recommend Roma’s Italian Kitchen enough! My only regret is that I ordered only one thing to-go. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is great, and you feel like you are back in a small piece of Europe. The owner Lucian was very hospitable and generous. I called in an order of Mititei to-go, and they were delicious! I cannot wait to go back and try their Sarmale, Schnitzel, and the pizza & pasta! I do not live very close, but Roma’s Italian Kitchen is definitely worth the drive, you won’t regret it. Va multumesc mult!”

“Located in a parking lot (adjacent to a gas station) is a completely unexpected hidden gem called Sourdough Bread Deli just waiting to be discovered. A Yelp suggestion led us here and this place definitely did not disappoint.We were greeted by Veronika, the attentive and friendly owner, with a smile upon entering and explained that it was our first visit. She gave us a little background on the business and explained that everything is baked fresh daily! You place your order (and also pay) at the front (there is a Menu on the wall) and it is brought out to you when it is ready. We ordered two Unsweetened Iced Teas, a Potato Salad, a small Reuben Sandwich (for me), and a small Roast Beef Sandwich (for Mom). Also purchased a Chocolate Chip Cookie which lent a perfect balance of brown sugar and chocolate chunks. All dishes excellent! The potato salad was a creamy and comforting classic reminiscent of childhood and truly hit the spot. The combination of potatoes, boiled eggs, savory onions, and crunchy celery provided the foundation for and an accompaniment to a delicious meal. The Sourdough was well-balanced while providing the perfect contrast, a noticeable depth of flavor, and the sauerkraut, dressing, and pastrami was the glue that held it all together. In a word? Fabulous! AND...it looked JUST LIKE the picture on the website! Solid 5 stars! I would certainly consider ordering this again on my next visit, but would try either the Chicken Parmesan or Chicken Pesto & Avocado and perhaps the Potato Leek Soup.The food here is clearly the star of the show. Ambiance is not at all the focal point. The service is attentive and it is clear that management knows what they are doing. I could definitely see this as our first choice and Sourdough go-to for subsequent visits. From the time we entered to the time we left, we witnessed Veronika and other employees/staff members hustling with rollerskates on and fulfilling online and dine-in orders. Apparently, this place gets pretty busy during the week and even more so on Saturday (they are closed on Sundays), but we arrived here around 10:30AM on a Tuesday morning and were able to find a table with no issues.”

So cute! And the taste! Mariela's gluten and dairy-free cakes are absolutely heavenly tasting!We met with her and gave her a general idea of the aesthetic vibe of our wedding (Texas wildflowers). She showed up exactly on time at the venue with a stunning two-layer cake with delicate, hand-painted wildflowers and tiny piped-on details that were even more beautiful than the real flowers at the wedding! Next door they also have quick bite to get meethai and pastry. Indo Chinese was average I have had it better at other places but that is not what they are famous for. Must try.”

We ordered the tonkotsu ramen and soy sauce ramen. The flavors are more localized for the American palate compared to authentic Japanese ramen, with the tonkotsu being mild and the noodles softer. While it’s not traditional, it’s easy to eat and fits well within the context of a food court.”
