“This is my second review of this place, but it's so good, I'm going to take the time. (And, no, I don't own the place!) I like a good burger. As far as fast food burgers go, I'm partial to Whataburger, but I like In-Out Burger as well, be it from California or not. Locally, Howell's has a pretty good burger and the little pharmacy out in Jacksboro is fantastic! I like "Herd's" in Jacksboro too, but am partial to the pharmacy burgers. I also simply used to love "Good Luck" in Ft. Worth too as a kid when I'd visit from Chicago and one of my uncles used to pack me and my cousins in the car and take us there for a treat. Good times! But this place is as good a burger as I've had, equaled only, in my opinion by the pharmacy out in Jacksboro, but much closer to where I live on the outskirts of Springtown. They have BBQ that smells like heaven and several other entrees too, but I can't get past their burgers whenever my wife and I go there. It's a small Mom/Pop drive thru right on 199 as you drive west out of Springtown, and they are friendly, professional, and quick. Burger with drink and Tater Tots is around $10 and well worth every penny!! This ain't Mickey D's or Jack in the Box folks, but a for real Texas burger. Go there and support them!!! Go there NOW!!!!“

“Woody Creek made my Mothers Day fantastic. We came in not knowing the first 5 Moms would receive $20 off their order so that was very cool- we had ordered banana pudding but were told they were out which was no biggie at all! Halfway through our meal they surprised us and made the banana pudding happen. The staff was phenomenal, the food was fantastic and i'm a pretty harsh BBQ critic- highly recommend Woody Creek and it will be our new go-to place. Seriously appreciate their kindness and care and for making my day so great.“

“We would actually give our time there a 3 1/2, but since we can’t, we’re going to give it a four because we think it leans more that way. We had a family of five with us and I believe it’s our first time to eat there since it’s changed from the previous restaurant to the one it is now. I had the turkey dinner and would give my turkey ? a five 5️⃣ . The turkey was moist and it tasted so good and I really enjoyed that. My baked potato was OK and I would say it was not quite a four, but it was OK. I enjoyed our salad and would lean it being more towards the four and also liked the ranch dressing. My husband had the barbecue plate with sliced brisket and jalapeño cheese sausages. He would give it a five 5️⃣ and said the sliced brisket was moist and flavorful and the sausages were well seasoned without the jalapeño ?️ being overpowering. We had three children’s plates and don’t have a whole lot to go on there, but I will say that each child had plenty of food to eat. The chicken strips seemed fine and they liked their tater tots.I will say the restaurant seemed very busy and our waitress, and possibly other staff seemed overwhelmed. However, in all that, and although we did have to ask for things more than once, she was very nice. I just think they had a lot of people there, which is a good sign, and maybe not enough staff to take care of them that particular night. It does seem like a good restaurant and a nice place to go if you looking for a casual family night.Kid-friendliness: We had three children there and the waitress was very nice to them. They seemed to enjoy their chicken strips and their tighter tots and they had plenty to eat.“
