“Very nice waitress who was incredibly attentive without being annoying. We were meeting an old friend after years and spent 3 hours having dinner. We didn't feel pressure to hurry along at all.We had a Negroni and Italian Margarita. Both well balanced cocktails that were perfect. My only comment would be for them to let guests know the Margarita comes standard with a salt rim and to confirm they want it. I'm so used to restaurants advising if/when a drink has a rim on it... that I did not assume it would come that way because there was no mention of it. My bad on the assumption, I understand, but still would be good customer service to mention the salt rim and/or confirm if they want a sugar rim or no rim instead.Appetizer of meatballs, we started with. The meatballs are excellent. One of the best I've had. 4 to the plate. The sauce a tad salty, but hardly noticeable.For dinner we shared the Classico pizza. I haven't a complaint about it. Excellent flavors melded together. Their dough is phenomenal. If I lived locally I'd be here once a month for a pizza.“

“The pizza was huge and tasted great but like someone else mentioned there were young workers manning the register and bringing the pizza out they were not very friendly especially when ordering and then we watched them just stand at the front door staring for a good 20-30 mins watching a cop pull someone over and another patron had spilled her salad all over the floor and someone said don't worry I'll clean it up later and proceeded to just watch out the door. Salad was still all over the floor when we left. It wasn't just one of them they were all there. Maybe it's not an important job for them but they could really work on customer service.“

“When in Waco, TX and especially when you visit Baylor University, you have to stop by Shorty's Pizza Shack. There's plenty of room inside and on the outside patio to sit. The atmosphere is fun and the energy of the crowd is good. The wait staff are friendly and the food is good. The Cinnamon knots are amazing and our favorite item on the menu. The Pillows are all great as well as the pizza. Definitely worth checking out!“

“First time to eat here and what a wonderful experience! Owned by an Italian family and food is very authentic. The waitress was wonderful and very attentive and the food delicious! The bread was wonderful, not bread sticks, but baked to perfection brushed with garlic oil and parmesan sprinkled on top. I had the salad with chicken and the portions were plentiful, the salad fresh and crispy and the chicken was seasoned. So tasty and so very happy to find this great restaurant. Highly recommend.“

“There are many great pizza options in Waco now but I always return to Poppa Rollo's when I come back to my hometown. Wife tried the BBQ chicken pizza and said it was the best she ever had. My daughter destroyed her mini cheese pizza. Love the beef topping. Make sure to order extra cheese on top to help keep the toppings on.“

“Everything was good except the burnt crumbs that are left in the oven, stick to the bottom of the pizza. This significantly changes the taste from good to a tangy burnt flavor. ?Really have to clean that stuff out regularly throughout the day because it makes a very good product end up not being so tasty.“

“Hi guys, as you can see, we were so hungry. I almost forgot to take photos. So my daughter, wife, and myself enjoyed the lunch. The wings and the fries are a 10 and a must get, no matter what you order.the wings were crispy on the outside and juicy. The fries are so crispy. It's almost like they dipped them in funnel cake batter. I'm giving a 4 star because they would make my pizza crust crispy. Again, sorry for the lack of good photos.“

“Kaliha was an amazing party host!!!! I meant to send back my paper review to Peter Piper Pizza but I ended up forgetting. I had my son’s first birthday party, and will be a memory we’ll all hold forever! Kaliha was great, and was always checking on us and making sure we were good on pizza, ice cream and everything else. She answered all of my questions throughout the party and was right there. 10/10 service!!!“

“I like the app ordering for quick service, but sometimes I'll just go by there to get lunch or dinner and scan the receipt for points on the app. Note: They are busy from 12-2 pm, so service will be a little slower at those times. The food is always fresh and very good. Customer service is good as well.“

“This small pizza place in Robinson offered a freshly made pie and friendly service. I personally prefer a thinner crust, however this has a great chew to it and was fluffy but not too doughy. The pepperoni pizza was classic with a generous amount of toppings and the right amount of sauce. The loaded potato pie is worth the trip. I feel like This crust made this pizza perfect and think everyone should give it a try. The space is small and dark, and offers some seating, but I took mine to go. Huge plus is my kids loved this pizza and are looking forward to their next trip.“

“Really, Dominos is my go-to pizza where ever I go, this one is a way out in an area I don't visit often, and man, that pizza today was so much better than the last one I got at that store, last year. They are making better food than ever, I suggest you give them a try and encourage them to continue to make better food.“

“Staff is always great about sharing the daily specials, friendly and polite. Best of all the pizza is always amazing. Fresh made to order, piping hot when I pick it up. Their salads are the bomb!! Always fresh ingredients and tasty, no wilted lettuce or soggy tomatoes. We have eaten at every pizza place in Waco and this is our go to for our weekly pizza fix.“

Place could do a little better in the cleaning of the dinning area but overall my experience was not bad and food was SEASONED so that was all for me. The plates were not small and it is affordable.
