“Cute winery in downtown Whitney. It is small and offers a selection of about fifteen wines. We had a semi-sweet red. The environment is cozy and conducive to sit around and chat on furniture or at tables. They have a gift assortment for a little bit of everyone.I would recommend stopping by here and saying hello to the very sweet woman who waited on us.”

“This is a locals hideout and for good cause; the food is absolutely fantastic.The breakfast is excellent and they have the best pancakes I've ever had...The dining room is tiny and it is a place you could drive by and not notice but the cook puts his heart into everything and you can definitely tell...The prices are very good also.”

“Dinner was so good, we came back for breakfast!I tell you, went camping at Lake Whitney State Park and arrived kinda late-ish after dark but weather did not lend itself to outdoor cooking. Sought a local place to fill our belies and found this little gem.Had their fried fish and shrimp special for dinner. Their portions were generous and fish and shrimp super crunchy while still flavorful - the best of both worlds, really.The next morning, after still thinking about our dinner, decided to skip making breakfast ourselves and went back to this cafe and try their options we saw on the menu the previous night. Boy, glad we did. Again, their portions were generous and food equally as delicious. The wife had the Lone Star Haystack and I had the pork chop and eggs. What can i tell you? We both loved our meals. Everything was great!And let me tell you, this is one of the friendliest places around. Service was awesome and all their staff is great.DO NOT skip this place if you're in the area!”

“The catfish dinner is so good here! Been looking for a place with great fish and Bobby’s supplied. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is so nice and caring always have smiling faces. Dad and I are new to the Whitney area been here 9 months and love this place. The burgers are great, taco salads are delicious and now the catfish. Oh my. Awesome job guys!!!!”

“Super lovely staff! Always greets you, visits and makes you feel special. The burritos are cooked to order and delicious. They have 4 different types of hot sauce, so a variety to pick from ranging from mild to hot. Usually a line if you use the drive through, so call ahead. Worth the wait!”

“Great little hole in the wall with a basic bar menu. Drinks were good really friendly staff. A little bit to dark on the lighting but I suspect that was due to the Christmas lights and then having the regular lights off.”

Salsa was not spicy had no flavor was like eating straight tomatoe Sauce. the queso was straight cheese no flavor no Seasoning. fajitas were cold like they just came off the steam table not hot off a grill only came with 3 small strips of chicken. server was not friendly and rushed you to order. Will not eat here again.”

“Stopped in to get ice cream for six. Our entire order was ready in less than 5 minutes. Nichole was GREAT!!! Not only did she get our deserts out quickly, she came to check with us before she brought them whether or not we wanted a drink carrier. “I only went through the drive thru for a glass & a gallon of sweet tea. It's refreshing!! They're my go to...albeit the sweet tea is a bit too sweet; half & half needs more sweetness. Won't stop me from going back.”

“The Owner Kim and her cook absolutely have the best food in at least a 50 mile radius. Food is not over priced and is very much homestyle with a tasty twist. The Gravy and sauces they put on different meals make for a delicious meal. I highly recommend taking a trip out to Laguna Park, get a bite to eat and walk it off by Lake Whitney. They are open Thursday thru Sunday. You won’t be disappointed!!”

“I always get a chorizo, egg, and cheese burrito here whenever Rankin automotive across the road services my car. The service is fast, the server/checkout lady is friendly and has conversations with me as I wait for my order. This is my favorite place to get burritos. The tortillas look handmade and the food is hot and delicious every single time.Parking: The parking lot is a little small, but it accommodates the amount of vehicles well. I've never had trouble parking or saw anyone else unable to park.”
