We were in awe at the atmosphere walking into the restaurant. we were greeted by the owner, which was so pleasant and accommodating.It truly is a Vermont rustic, most lovely atmosphereOur waitress was so nice, friendly and helpful. She loves her job for sure.My boyfriend got the eggs, Benedict with smoked salmon, and I got the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to perfection as for the eggs the were shredded which is my absolute favorite!We truly cannot wait to visit again....read full review
Breakfast is very good. Could use a new homefrie recipe. Service needs tweaking. Front door needs a bell to ring in the kitchen so patrons are not waiting long to be seated.The atmosphere is lovely. I would highly recommend!

It is difficult to find great breakfasts in Brattleboro, but we saw an ad in the Commons newspaper for The New England House and gave it a try.Splendid in every way!
