“I love this beautiful resturant, though I usually come for our P.E.O meetings, the food is delicious ( especially for me the cheese burgers, fries and salad � ) and the staff is Awesome and the singing and music is great when they have it.“

“I first stumbled across mead from Axis at a taphouse in Yelm. Feeling excited to try something new I bought a bottle of their Death Metal Guys mead. But before I broke out that mead a trip to the Olympia area was already in the works so I figured I'd go to their taproom in Lacey. I was quite impressed with the mead here! The first mead I had was the Pink Bike Helmet mead. This had a great blending of pear and apple and of course honey. The balance was well handled and I enjoyed it. But the mead that I liked best, even after I broke open the Death Metal Guys bottle on Thanksgiving was their Hatch Chili Mead. Oh, man! I'm very partial to hatch chilis in the first place but the fact that I came across a pepper mead was just wonderful! It had a nice heated kick to it with the smoothness of the honey that followed. A fantastic mead and one I'd definitely seek out again. Then like I said I broke out the Death Metal Guys over the Thanksgiving holiday. This was a syrupy, blackberry mead with a boozy flair to it. It was good too and perfect for the holiday! But my mind will always drift back to that Hatch Chili Mead. Just writing this review makes me want to plan another trip down to their taproom so I can have another glass!“

“Back at our favorite restaurant. The drinks are great, the customer service is amazing ? and of course the food was very delicious. The experience is great, the music is awesome. Very family friendly. This is our second time.Updating my review: ?The atmosphere was great and friendly especially if your bringing kids or as for a family. The food was delicious and so many options which very hard to choose which is great because everything sounds yummy! But especially the waitress, this is the second time getting her and she really goes out of her way and she’s very friendly and nice. My kids really loved her. This is the customer service that deserves tips and makes you want to come back again. People like her is what makes the place. But we keep forgetting her name.“

“What a fantastic find! I am so rarely impressed when I go out, but Chicory was absolutely incredible! So inspired and inventive! Everything was absolutely delicious! My taste buds and soul were so happy. Had the scallops, carrots, smoked potatoes and biscuits. I cannot wait to return and try more of the amazing menu! Service was wonderful. Very sweet husband and wife owned place. Only regret is that I hadn't tried it sooner. What a gem! Thank you Chicory!“

“Hidden gem. Lots of great choices here, local, regional and national. A few sours that were tasty as well. The 2022 Bourbon County proprietors imperial stout is the finest of any stout I've ever tasted. The vibe in here is somewhere between classic taproom and 70's cafe. Crocheted art and hangers all over the place. This place is mellow, nostalgic and cozy. I could make it my hangout if I lived up here!“

“Out on a drive to not much on a sunny day and was in the mood for some greasy dive grub. Searched burgers Olympia and this was one that came up and a friend with me who wanted breakfast. Called and placed an order for takeout. Burger was nice and sloppy all over my hands with a decent sauce and homemade greasy real fries. Friend said is Denver omelette breakfast was plenty. Possibly try this place again when I’m the area.“

“So yum! They have many vegan options and GF options. They actually care about serving the community as a WHOLE. And for that, I am thankful. The sloppy joe is vegan and so yummy. The server, David, has always been great friendly and accommodating. I like this place for groups since they have something for everyone.“

“Please excuse the lack of photos, once the warm, restaurant made, perfectly soft yet charred tortillas hit the table we were too busy eating to take pictures. The Chile Colorado, Camerones and made to order guacamole ( and fresh salsa bar!), lived up to the deliciousness of the tortillas.“

The owners are great and usually around during the day.Great pack patio area, plenty of seating, 2 coin-operated pool tables ($1/game), lots of tvs (usually all on sports), and awesome service from the bartenders and servers.The food is good and the drinks are a good pour. “Small joint with a good atmosphere. Locals enjoy it for its variety of drinks and unusual menu. Charcuterie and good nachos are a staple here, but its a tough spot to find parking due to the very small parking lot and it's location. If your going on a weekend go early.“

“My partner and I decided to try this restaurant in downtown Olympia because I was craving pasta and I'm a Celiac. The food was fantastic and I had lots of choices, I even got gf bread with dinner. We'll go again as often as possible! Bon Appetit“

“Can't complain this hole in the wall has been here for so long. Decent drink for price and popcorn . Bartender was super nice too. I have driven past this place since I was a teen and finally went in. The locals tbat frequent it, had nothing but good to say. It was a nice quick stop when I did a quick bar crawl on the Eastside. I'll come back again and get something new.“

“This is the only bar I've ever been to that has two different atmospheres depending on which room your in. One side is loud the other side is more mellow. I loved it. Great place to take my daughter for her 21st. The staff is great! Well prices drinks. Lots of food options.“

“This tavern is a gem. The food is cooked with care and you can tell when you get it. The brussel sprouts are a huge hit at any time. I tried a "special" called the CodFather yesterday with a hand battered piece of cod, topped with fresh sliced pastrami and some cheese on a slathering of coleslaw on a bun. It absolutely works!“

“We checked this place out for the first time on Halloween, the prices are reasonable. Kitchen was closed by the time we wanted food so we’ll try it next time. Plenty of options for songs. Karaoke was a blast and the vibe was absolutely there compared to some other karaoke places in the area. Bartender was so sweet as well as the karaoke host. We’ll be returning!“

“Attended a group meet up here. We definitely had A LOT of people in a smaller area. Despite that I felt they kept a good atmosphere with drinks flowing out of the bar. Karaoke was a lot of fun for what seemed like everyone and the sound was awesome. Good job everyone involved. Also the food didn’t get a rating bc I did not eat there.“
