“I hadn't visited Subway in at least five years. The last few times I went, I wasn't impressed with their food. But today, I was really craving a sub, especially since I heard they started using fresh-cut deli meat. So, I decided to give it another shot for lunch.I wanted to use the drive-thru instead of going inside, so I checked and found out that the High River location had one.However, finding it was a bit tricky. You can't just drive into the parking lot; you have to go down the street, turn a corner, and go behind the building. And the drive-thru isn't really meant for big vehicles. By the time you make the last turn, you've already passed the menu board and ordering spot. Whoever planned this drive-thru didn't do a great job. Just moving the menu board a bit closer to the front would make a huge difference.But the lady who took my order and made my sub was fantastic. She was super polite, very thorough, and quick without making me feel rushed. When I went to pay, she had a big smile and was incredibly polite.As for the food, I've always liked their Cold Cut Combo, until it became more like the Slimy Cut Combo the last few times I went to Subway. This time, I ordered the Canadian Classic with their fresh deli meat to see if it was any better. And let me tell you, it was miles better than what I had before at Subway. It wasn't slimy, it actually had flavor to it, and it made the whole sub taste amazing.“

There was 2 in-restaurant orders and a large skip the dishes order ahead of me when I went in but had my food in no more than 10 minutes! Staff was working hard but we're smiling and kind the whole time. Excellent all around ??“

“It took a long time before the front counter was served because the drive thru was busy and no staff out front to help. Once we got our order in the service was great.Why do you put the huge hard center pieces of lettuce on a burger? Makes them hard to eat and doesn't enhance the flavor.Thank you for doing the best you can with the staff you have and for being friendly and helpful.Very busy place everything I stop in.“

“Edo Japan in Okotoks is a hidden gem atop a small hill. The food is top-notch – seriously. Remarkably consistent, reliably good and just frankly delicious. Yes I am aware that Sushi purists out there may have disdain for the more gentle demographic appeal of the chosen sushi platters and menu items here at Edo. There are times I will go for something more specific and exotic when I elect to sear my tongue and lose taste for 2 days when I'm in the mood.At other times I want comfort food that is refreshingly distinct and beyond the "burger and fries". Plus, the view from the hill nearby is just pristine, when it isn't -38 celcius that is.But what really makes this place a craving for me is the vibe. “I went for the first time today on my lunch break. Very efficient staff, especially when the high schools had lunch hour as well! They were very busy, and yet I was in and out in under 5 minutes. My biggest rave is that the food was all fresh. As a vegetarian, I always get all the veggies and pay the extra for avocado. Many locations have veggies that are old or frozen from being in the cold table too long/not being rotated properly, and brown avocado. I didn't have to pick and choose based on what looked edible. Will definitely return to this location!“
