The only recommendation is there could be a little more quantity of Sambhar. Service was excellent. Manager Thomson came to each table to inquire about the diner's experience. “Order this for my wife for Mothers Day as I was working out of town for work. this is her review: Been craving a little comfort from home in these tough times. Really wanted to taste some of the Indian/Sri Lankan dishes I grew up with for Mother's Day. After some internet digging found this restaurant close to my home. The masala dosa was crispy and the potato mixture was delicately spiced. The sambar was a great accompaniment as I am accustomed to enjoying it that way, but honestly I could drink/eat that aromatic lentil stew all day long (which is what I did do). The chicken varuthara and fish curry were spicy but what I was left with was the wonderful flavour as opposed to the burning I have with some of the other South Asian cuisine I have tried here. I recommend ordering idiyappam (string hoppers). The fluffy disks of rice noodles were a perfect vessel to polish off the delicious curry sauces. Make sure to call ahead for these. The staff were kind, helpful and humble; another reminder of home. They did deliver as we were nearby and had an order over $50. To complete my Mother's Day experience, they threw in a dessert for free. The dessert, Semiya Payasam was cooling, sweet and flavour packed. A perfect ending to a wonderful meal. We both checked the website for the opening time which said 11:00 AM and it said 11:00 AM on the window too. Unfortunately, the door was locked. I tried to call and there was no answer. Finally, at 11:30 the doors opened. We were told that the time is wrong on both the website and the window, but it was correct on google. Wasn’t as much a fan of the Goat Biryani (chewy and somewhat bland meat that was not the highest quality cut) and the Crab was okay (though I usually don’t eat crustacean meat, so maybe I’m not quite as adjusted to this particular dish). However, their fish pakora makes up for it and is another excellent dish. If you try this place, definitely go with the chicken dishes I mentioned.“
