“YUMMY! Went here by a friend's reccomend and dinner was ON POINT! Came in Tuesday night, and both of us got the pountine specials. Reccomend the Hot Wings Pountine with Gorgonzola. “This is by far the best Donair in town the lady that makes it makes it with care. Parking can sometimes be a problem during lunch hours do there only being about 10 spots this it but what it lacks in size it makes up for in taste I have been too many Donair shops and this may be the only one I have never had a bad Donair at. “I was at this restaurant last night to meet up with some friends. Had a fantastic time. The waitress (Brook -1412) did an outstanding job. I could not ask for anything better. She took her time and made sure that everything was perfect. I had the Fish and Chips. I would not be able to eat 2 pieces of fish. Brook was able to get me 1/2 an order.The food was just as good as the service. I would definitely be back again. “Popped in A&W to get a couple burgers, explained to the employee that I have Celiacs and he immediately started looking into the ingredients list to ensure there was no wheat in anything. He consulted with the cook to ensure he understood my condition and both organized a safe work area for making of my order. I have been to several restaurants and know what to order but these two made it a mission to ensure I was not compromised through cross contamination. I’ve never had this type of service and felt like these employees were looking out for me. Thank you so very much, the lettuce wrap burgers were excellent.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options with lettuce wrap burgers. Make sure to inform them that you cannot have gluten. They use the the deep fryers for a variety of food so French fries are not an option. ☹️“

And milkshakes to die over.Parking: Every time we have gone there has been parking right out front of the doors.Kid-friendliness: Nothing seems breakable and the restaurant has an almost 80s vibe to it. The kids menu is great (I order off it for myself) and can't see why children would be a problem.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Doors standard. Booth seats on one wall, but otherwise seating with removable chairs to be accommodating.“

“Came to have the golden chicken but it wasn't ready. We opted for the bbq chicken. The servings were quite big and the chicken was tasty. The service was excellent. The restaurant is cozy with about 5 or 6 tables and is very clean and inviting. Will certainly come back and try the golden chicken.“

“DO NOT RECOMMEND DQ DOWNTOWN went through the drive-thru ordered a milkshake. the guy making the shake took his time. standing by the machine chatting to the girls holding my shake. I told him that I would like that today and he can chat on his own time not mine. He get snarky with me. I over hear him say to the other girls that he should spit in my milkshake. Needless to say I was livid. I told him I heard what he said about spitting in my shake. He denied it but I know what I heard. I will not be going back to DQ and I demand that you fire that kid. “It is with reluctance I write this note, I went to Dairy Queen to eat a hamburger" inside" but the few tables were taken, I was about to leave and 2 tables became available. I placed my order and then looked for a bottle of hand sanitizer but there wasn't any. I went to the washroom and washed my hands to find out there was no paper towels. I pulled open the door to realize that my hands needed to be sanitize again but what could I do , the vacant table wasn't wiped down so I just left. My concern is, if one person had covid 19 , the virus would be spread all over in a very short time , how lucky this place is to date. I feel the recommended guidelines are not followed at this Dairy Queen in Lacombe AB. Note: the staff were friendly etc. the hamburger was good , but I do think they don't take this covid 19 very seriously .“
“The A&W in Blackfalds is my favorite location to eat at, second only to the Lacombe store. The food here is just consistently good, every time. Their teen burgers are amazing. But I think my favorite item on the menu has to be the warm apple pie. I love the toasted brown sugar crumble on the outside of the pie. It makes a heck of a mess when you eat it, but worth every bite! ?“
