“To give a 5 Star for food, although everything was fresh, crisp and delicious as usual, they would have to add Peace River Pie to the menu, or at least bring back the Roast Beef Sub.A five star for service would be given, if they could ever remember to include serviettes with the meal to stay. “This was our first visit to Eastside Eatery. It's a bit out of the way, in an industrial area. The sign is very plain but there is free parking, although I parked on the street because I'm towing a trailer. We both ordered sandwiches. For me it was the meatloaf sandwich and for my partner it was Chipotle Turkey Bacon. They use really thick slices of bread that some may like and others might find too filling. My meatloaf sandwich was only $10.50 which is good value. The Chipotle Sandwich was a bit more at $13.50 but that's still reasonable. I had a coffee too. It was fine, though nothing special.WiFi is free but not password protected. It was nice inside the cafe. Very roomy and not too loud nor too quiet. It was easy to carry on a conversation. I enjoyed my sandwich but it was a bit large. Still this could be my new go to cafe when I'm hungry on the QEII. I recommend it.“
