Alforno is a popular cafe spot in Calgary, especially on weekends, so factor that into your plans when visiting. We had to wait around 10-15 minutes for a table, which was no problem at all - the staff were very friendly and kept us apprised of the wait. I ate the Mafia Breakfast, which was absolutely *delicious* with an iced latte. No complaints about the service or quality of food - this is a great spot to grab a well-priced bite.
Perfect for a breakfast or a brunch, the food are very good and tasty ! Even for eating something in the afternoon ! Their coffee and tarts are very good as well ! Otherwise, if you plan to eat at the place, don’t forget to book your table ! ?

Great coffee with quality ingredients, but very pricey. They charge a fee of $1.25 to substitute for non-dairy milks (oat milk, almond milk etc.) which I think is very steep compared to other coffee shops and relative to the price of non-dairy products compared to dairy products. An entire 1L carton of non dairy milk is $2.50. Why am I paying 50% of the cost of an entire carton to use non dairy milk in my 250 mL drink?
