The chicken soup was the worst soup that I have ever experienced....seriously. Boiling water with oversized Broccoli crowns. No bean sprouts, smallest portion of protein ever etc...etc. The broth was totally void of flavor which was the biggest let down for me. No salt or spices whatsoever. I would not eat this soup if it was free.

Ordered the wor wonton soup with the peanut sate sauce. It was delicious. Lots of wontons and meats. I love the choice of veggies. I love cabbage and it was perfect in this wonton soup. Will be getting this often.Edit.Got the grill pork sub today. It’s amazing. The pork is delicious. There’s lots of meat lots of veggies. The bread is fresh and crispy. I can’t wait to try more dishes.

I ordered the vegan banh mi and really enjoyed the crunchy tofu texture inside. I did wish they had put more sauce in but it still tasted fresh and delicious. The menu is simple and not busy with too many choices. That made deciding what to eat alone more easier. The banh mi was made right there with fresh ingredients. The vegan menu is very small if you're one. But at least I still can eat there in a pinch if I am starving. I also tried the taro bubble tea. Not too sweet imo but was still good. I would go back again. The server was also careful with people with peanut allergies. She made sure to inform us about nuts in their dishes.Vegetarian options: They do have small options with vegetarian dishes.Dietary restrictions: They check on people with nut allergies.

This 5-star is for Beef Sate vermicelli. It deserved to be 6-star ?. Beef is so tender and flavourful, spring roll is one of the best one among Vietnamese restaurants in YYC. The best vermicelli bowl so far in YYC for sure!

The bahn mi’s are a great value, at $10 a sub you really cannot go wrong (compared to every other sub place). The grilled pork is exceptional, smoky, sweet and not too salty and is charred around the edges. The chicken and beef are both really good too and that to go with extra pickled carrots brings it all together. The bread is outstanding too but make sure to eat it fresh while it crunchy and flaky. Overall you’ve got about a 10” bahn mi with great flavours and great people making them!

Pretty good bahn mi. Bread is good and ingredients are fresh. The pork was very salty since it seems like a canned sauce / marinade. Fruit smoothies are powdered mix so lack real flavour.
We ordered dinner from here tonight and I was disappointed to find bugs in my soup. Also, the vegetables were rotten. I unfortunately had to throw $40 worth of food in the trash.

We have tried alot of Vietnamese restaurants and BAMI is by far my whole family's favorite. My child loves the spring rolls (can eat a whole order of them). Their subs are amazing, the shrimp spring roll vermicelli there is my favorite. Everything on their menu is fresh and has good flavour I would highly recommend you eat here.Kid-friendliness: My child loves Vietnamese night.

Ordered from them last night I tried to change it to a grilled chicken rice bowl but it was already being prepared so I totally understand that and I also didn't notice when asking it was about 15 mins to close. The food here was amazing and I will be back! Next time I'll make sure to get My order right the first time ?

I'm on the same train as that other guy above... no public washrooms?I waited for the food for about half an hour, it took so long.The flavors were pretty dull. I was really looking forward to my food...Oh well! It was pretty pricey for what we got.
