Careful and conscientious service is in abundance at Coffee Land. The Mocha was ‘piping hot’, hand made and frothy, and the Mulawah with Eggs was freshly made, delicious, and a steal at only $8. Service is not rushed or immediate, but here, like a quaint Parisian cafe, it is not meant to be, and patience is well rewarded with an understated yet astounding experience.
Low-key might be one of the best coffee shops / cafes in Calgary just because all the drinks are handmade on the spot by the owner. Since this cafe is independently ran, the drinks here are made with fresh ingredients and don’t have that weird, artificial taste that coffee chains do (Starbucks, Tim’s, etc.) The chai latte here is absolutely incredible! Basic coffee shop with decent very hot coffee prepared to order. We were only ones in the shop at 11:00 on a Tuesday and there was no baking available short of a few cookies. Would have been nice to have a treat as some of the other reviews had mentioned.
