Saw the hot chocolate fest sign. Went in and had a delicious treat. But the highlight was the person serving me at the counter. Fernanda....has the hospitality star badge for sure... extremely professional and friendly and very helpful and gracious smile. She offered me water and a to go cup as the hot chocolate was very rich for me... definitely revisit.

Convenient location ? Small Cafe.Prices are a bit high; however, we have to consider this cafe is in Downtown. There are many options on the menu. Food is great.

Great service and atmosphere plus handy location. It's a great place to meet people. However...Most food options are expensive and not sustainable for a M-F office worker. The drinks and pastries are fine, but I ordered a hot line item once that left me with digestive distress :S I haven't tried a hot line item since. Most recently I bought a grilled cheese sandwich and it was $11 and change for just cheese and white bread which seems pretty shocking.Wheelchair accessibility: Open accessible area and accessible doors

Stale scone tasted old. They didn’t seem to care. Suggest you ask when food was made.

Jambalaya! This is both my favourite meal here, and my biggest pet peeve! Jambalaya is a meal that comes in a bowl or on a plate, and is meant to be eaten with a fork, not your fingers....so please....Take the tails off the shrimp! I don't like to get the Jambalaya sauce all over my fingers because I have to pull the tails off the shrimp! Other than that, it's delicious!Dietary restrictions: My dietary restriction, is that I'm shrimp-tail intolerant.

The service has been generally good, but unfortunately, the food has not.Visit 1 - The panini was fine. We ordered 2 desserts for 3 people and all 3 of us were disappointed. They looked great in the showcase, but the taste & substance was "meh".Visit 2 - There were bags of "Holiday Sweet Treats" available for purchase this past Christmas season. I purchased their "Assorted Christmas Cookies" as a gift. I was not able to gift the cookies as intended and eagerly looked forward to trying them myself. When I did, I was so relieved that I had not given them away because they were stale.Visit 3 - YYC Hot Chocolate Fest - Their description & photo on the festival website said the deconstructed hot chocolate came with "caramelized banana" and "deep-fried rum raisin ice cream". Neither came with the drink and they were replaced with a small coconut macaroon. Highly disappointing, especially since their staff did not mention the changes either when I was looking to purchase. The hot chocolate itself was sickly sweet. "pineapple" - where? "banana & pineapple infused whip cream" - could not discern those flavours in the whip, on its own or with the hot chocolate. Maybe the toasted coconut sprinkled on top negated the other flavours?3 strikes. I will not be back, nor will I recommend this bistro.

This is a great little bistro located conveniently near the park. Fantastic coffee and sandwiches with comfortable seating

Accidentally found this place when we parked at the art commons garage. I had their Nutella latte (yum) and shared their raspberry dome.
