“I've lived in Calgary since 2006 and this was one of the best, if not the best dinner I've had to date. This is having been to many high end restaurants over the years. Enjoyed the beef wellington so much. The old fashioned was seriously incredible both in presentation and flavor! Crab cakes wow, so moist and fresh along with the zesty sauce. Table side Caesar salad , world class. The Continental knocked it out of the park for our table!11/10 not one point less“
“A nice spot for some drinks and socializing, it is not as crammed in as some other locations in Inglewood, and allows for some nice breathing room between work and later night activities or events. We enjoyed the cocktails and the food looked and smelled really good but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to eat there. Our server informed us that they do have live Jazz nights and other events which gives the place a much warmer/more intimate feel than some of the drinking spots in Inglewood.Overall, it is a nice spot and I hope to try their food soon to round out my impression of the Eden!Parking: Inglewood in general is a bit of a hard spot to park during busy hours, so this is no fault of the establishment“
“Dining at Cassis Bistro is a special experience. The service is exceptional and memorable. The food is their craft and passion; you will want to savor every single bite. The ambiance and music transport you to France... I always leave Cassis never wanted to go to another restaurant!“
“Popped in to have a cocktail while I was waiting for my movie time to approach at the Globe cinema across the street. The cocktail (Smoke) was very good, and the presentation in a glass, smoke-filled case was a nice surprise. I sat at the bar and the service was great, the bartender was friendly and very attentive (they also jumped in to manage front-of-house and seat parties as they arrived). This is a nice spot to sit and enjoy a bite to eat and a drink with friends as a starting point for an evening. I do find that there is something off with the energy of the place and, to be honest, I just can't put my finger on what it is but it might be tied to a mix of the layout and wooden furniture. They advertise themselves as cozy, but I think the wooden furniture works against that vibe a bit.“
“Loved it. Came for the tasting menu. Excellent attention to details and flavoured so beautifully! Great commitment to my dietary preferences (no meat, light dairy)My children enjoyed it also. I found the service was very attentive , more casual than many higher end restaurants. Servers treated my kids well (my kids are polite, adventurous eaters who truly appreciate gourmet, but sometimes establishments assume otherwise ).I found the second round of non alcoholic drinks were kind of half-hazardely prepared for simple drinks. (No olive, no beautiful gradient on the Shirley temple as first round). The first round was very special however. Not sure if there’s a bartender or maybe short staffed?“
“I don't remember the last time I eat there, but the crepes are much more tasty, they are delicious now, the new managment is doing a great job. Today we met Julie & Kennedy, they went far and beyond with their service, offering options to add or to exchange some ingredients. We will go back sooner for sure!!“
“We have been quite a few times. Meals are substantial, well prepared and well presented. Very typical French service. Not rushed at all. Unlike a lot of other restaurants we frequent.Parking: That area of Calgary has limited parking. Can be an issue.“
“I enjoyed weekend brunch at this place. The drip coffee, appetizers, mains, and desserts were all delicious, and the plating was excellent. The venue is spacious, and the interior is stylish. Free parking is also available at the back of the restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. It's a place where I'd like to come back to try other menus or dinners. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there yet.“
“The breakfast and coffee was very good. our server, McKenzie was personable and professional. Definitely a great asset to the business. My biggest negative would be that the dining area and bathrooms were filthy. The lights had dust-plus on them. The windows are murky. This could be so much nicer with just a deep clean!“
“Vero is one of my all-time favourite restaurants in Calgary and has been so for at least 10 years. The staff are so quite knowledgable and interesting. The food is always spectacular in sauce taste presentation and exactly perfectly well done for texture. The quaint ambiance cannot be compared. this is a true gem in the heart of KensingtonIt is absolutely a consistent preference of anyone that has been there once! ?“
