Great Chaozhou cuisine (eastern part of Guangdong province in China)! It's a small mom and pop Chinese restaurant right on the Trans-Canadian Highway 1. They definitely have a loyal customer base given them the owner recognizes many of their patrons. Plus, they have a normal flow of takeouts even on a Wednesday evening! The food was great too! Not too oily/greasy, nor salty. Vegetarian options are available. Large portions. Decent decor. Limited parking in shared parking lot to the East.

Authentic Cantonese regional Chinese food that is worth to try and satisfy your craving! Great recommendation from the owner lady who is very friendly and sincere and offered many excellent options including regional specialty. Not a fancy place with very low key decor though and may not be the best dating spot but great for friends and family to have a warm and happy meal☺️ highly recommended to try if you are in town and in the mood for Chinese food. None of the dishes we ordered was spicy which is great for us especially.

Soooo good, original Chaoshan cuisine. Manager is super nice, the food is orginal Chaoshan style, it is not something you can find in general Cantonese restaurant. Additionally, the size of food is pretty large and the price is so reasonable. The manager also gave us free us and dessert. The dessert is amazing, original Cantonese 'Tangshui'. Will definitely come back.

My friend and I drove from Banff to Calgary in search of an authentic Chinese restaurant, and we were thrilled to discover this gem. The restaurant specializes in Chao Shan cuisine, which is not commonly found in the U.S. We decided to try their crab dish, which was slightly on the expensive side but absolutely delightful in taste.We received fantastic recommendations from the lady boss, Eva, who suggested we try the kangkong and the Marinated platter. She generously offered us complimentary rice, drinks, and fruits. Eva's hospitality was truly exceptional, and it was evident that she genuinely cared about her customers' experience.Overall, we were impressed by the restaurant's dedication to providing an authentic culinary experience and their warm and considerate service. New edit:We went back April 2023. Sadly, I think shrinkflation ruined the oyster pancakes. We ordered one and there are hardly any oysters in it. Incredibly sad since it was our favorite dish. We can’t recommend the oyster pancake anymore. However, all the other dishes are still very tasty and the owner is still incredibly nice. I will still come back but probably just for special occasions. 3 adults and 1 child, the bill is around $110. Just a little much for us to come regularly.Older post:The owner is very friendly. The food is very authentic and delicious. I come especially for their fried oyster pancakes and oyster congee. I find that the amount of oysters found in these dishes are quite generous and hence I enjoy it so much.
Great hole in the wall. Do not let the unassuming front fool you, great selections, tasty food (Whether take out or dine in). The rotating take-out selection of 3 dishes for $36 is great, very reasonable price and good portions. Friendly staff.

Very tasty Chinese restaurant. The server is very warmly. When we ordered even reminds us if we over order the food. But we ends up finish all dishes. The food is at a fare price. And give us a dessert as service. All are local customers, so it’s a nice little gem in that area.
