It reminds me of just pure cornstarch, very tiny oily flakes, rather than really crispy dry larger chunks of batter. The chicken inside was perfectly cooked, and I like their spicy hot sauce. “I ate here today for the first time. AMAZING. I have 12 food allergies, and was free and clear. Knowledgeable staff made sure to make recommendations based on my allergies to keep me safe. “Few days ago I left a review complaining about the donair I got from shawarma Barlow SE location and the owner asked me to contact him to solve the problem and that’s what I did. HONESTLY, he is a really nice person. He explained that he doesn’t own the SE location anymore and that they are still using their name. He offered us another donair at NE location and I wasn’t disappointed this time. The donair was the best I had so far. It was juicy, the meat was fresh and it was huge. And not just that, they even gave us some free falafel I’m gonna come back here for sure. I just love how much respect and care they show for their customers. It’s incredible.“

Along with sweets we tried their chicken and vegetable samosa, probably the most authentic Punjabi style samosa I have ever had. We also tried their ras Malai which was equally delicious. The owner says their food items are better than the sweets so will probably update the review again after trying their food menu.Original: The best place in Calgary to eat authentic Pakistani sweets. “We tried their chicken wraps and naan haleem. It is indeed the best Haleem in the city. Chicken wrap was also good. Fries were less in quantity though.Falooda was delicious.Good for take out. There were dirty dishes left on the tables in dining area. So it's something they could probably work on.“

“I always drive from Edmonton to Calgary with my friends just to eat at Karahi Boys. We love their Chappli Kababs bursting with flavour, Charsi Karahi, Bihari Boti cooked to perfection with Garlic Naan and Lemon Mojito. They have the best dessert we cannot find in any other desi restaurants. We usually order Gajar ka Halwa or Thoothi kheer trust me man each bite is a delight, I finish off with their Karak Chai which helps me drive back. Hands down, some of the best food I've had in years. We are planning to try their brunch next time, very clean fine dining restaurant great service and if you are a foodie like me, you will love this place.“
