I've been ordering cheese and charcuterie boards from Peasant Cheese for many years, but they outdid themselves for a Celebration of Life I recently organized. The boards were outstanding with complementary dried fruit, olives etc. and they prepared a large assortment of sandwiches beyond the usual (and tasty) deli sandwiches. Wonderful presentation and incredibly reasonable! Special thanks to Michelle and Crystal who spare me the worries about details and I can trust to make all the right choices. Highly recommended.

Weird experience. I kept asking for soft ripened or washed rind cheeses and she kept pushing aged hard cheeses. They were out of 4 of my 5 choices, maybe that's why. I'm willing to pay a premium if it's what I want but $50 for whatever they had left was too much.

I wish I remembered the name of the absolutely wonderful woman who helped us!She helped us pick cheeses for our boardWe sampled and she made suggestions based on what we liked ... what complimented the other cheeses and advised as to what would overpower..and the !! Same with the meatsI love that they carry many local productsHighly reccomend

I really love this place, I come here ans always spend a bit cause they have everything for a good cheese board, I love that they have dried fruits and fruit pastes and basically everything that compliments cheese and meats. I also love their sandwiches but you have to go early, cause they sell out. If you want to make a nice Charcuterie board....Stop here is a must!

Attended a wine and cheese tasting at the market next door with cheese curated by Adam from Peasant Cheese. All the pairings were amazing and I left the event with a whole new appreciation for how many kinds of cheeses exist and the important life knowledge that you can milk a water buffalo ? Across the street from our Calgary office, when I work in Calgary, it's my first choice for lunch to call and order the Ploughman's lunch made with gluten-free crackers. Always assembled with your choice of deli meat or pate - it's a tough choice! They include some olives, cornichons, beautiful soft cheese, hard cheese, dried fruits and another condiment ... sometimes the sweetie peppers that are my favourite. You can't eat all of it in one sitting! I have for back and bought so many cheeses when having it in my lunch. Bleu, Brie and they have all been amazing!! They even carry a small selection of fresh grocer items like lettuce, tomato, onion etc. giftware, baskets and a deli selection as well as offering catering... do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing something to impress family or guests! Staff are always super helpful when choosing selections. Having a wine store next door is ideal convenience.
