Excellent sandwiches from this Italian deli. You have your choice of white or brown bread. Would highly recommend the Joe's Special and the Prosciutto. Add some roasted red peppers to the Prosciutto especially. Their lunch specials are decent as well, I usually try it if it's pasta, which is decent. But it's the sandwiches that steal the spotlight in this deli. Has a few tables and stools inside. Service is always great. I would also mention parking in the area is usually a pain in the butt, but all things considered, is very well worth it for those sandwiches.

Discovered this gem today on a coworkers recommendation.Jerry and Joe are two of the sweetest humans I have met in a while. I took home 4 different sandwiches and their house made triple chocolate gelato.Each sandwich was completely unique in its own right, and were all fantastic. This will be my new go to spot in Calgary for lunch. Joe’s special with a little bit of heat added was my favourite.

So, I started a new job and my office is right in the heart of Kensington! Today I decided to treat myself and took myself out for lunch, I found myself at Peppino on Kensington Road. Fresh made on the spot, the sandwich I ordered did Not disappoint, the bun, meats, sauces, all of it was seriously on point!! It was well worth the price and the short walk, it was by far the Best freshly made Italian sandwich I have eaten to date! I was feeling spicy, and that is exactly what I got! The flavour of their in house made sauce, was insanely good! They slice the meat right in front of you, l’m literally still full from this delectable sando! I highly recommend you try this place! ???Also, the bun was crazy soft, not chewy like Spalumbos or The Calgary Italian Bakery - in their own rights, their sanwiches are good too, but this place takes the cake, the cats meow of Italian Sandos!Just go, you wont be sad after eating here lol they also have a couple freezers of pre-made pizzas, meatballs etc. its like a tiny little market, cozy inside as well. ♥️Service was also on point, fast and friendly!I would add pics but I cant figure it out on my phone lol ??♀️I had the Vesuvius!Vegetarian options: Their vegetarian menu was also quite big, so many options!
