Since 1962 but we first went in 1969. It has been a long time since we last visited. Having moved to Vancouver in the 90s and then to Canmore, we don't often get to Calgary. The burgers and shakes have not changed a bit! A douible cheese still gets you 2 1/2 patties that are cooked over flames and the shakes are soooooo thick. Plus, we are impressed. Love this place! I always have a cheeseburger and onion rings, sometimes fries and gravy. Their single cheeseburger has two patties, so you have to ask for a single-patty cheeseburger if that's what you want. Onion rings are always crispy, French fries could be crisper, they're sometimes limp even when asked to make them crisp. Milkshakes are amazing, thick and flavorful and you get a good straw. Lots of outdoor seating and lots of friendly staff means you don't wait a long time...read full review

They service was friendly snd we didn't wait long for our food, but unfortunately they got part of our order wrong and we didn't notice until we got the food home and we weren't going to drive halfway across town to go take it back.
