Oh wow.. Did I discovered a hidden gem?!?. This place maybe known for their curry & sate lobster noodle soup, but what attracted me most was their Curry Noodle soup on the menu. Not all Vietnamese restaurant can make this noodle soup perfectly, but wow, their curry noodle soup was superb!! Big soup bowl, the broth, omg, good hint of curry, not over powering, good balance of spice and umami!! Not heavy at all on the coconut cream... absolutely delicious.Can't wait to go back to try their sate Pho!!Staff was super friendly and nice ??

This time I would like I twist so I tried out their sweet and sour soup with fish fillets and vermicelli. The portion is HUGE, full of fresh vegetables. The soup is hot and savory. The waitresses are very attentive to ensure that all the orders came out correctly with our large group. I would recommend anyone looking for solid Vietnamese food in around the Hamptons neighborhood to go to Saigon Rex.Vegetarian options: Yes. Pho here is pretty good. A little on the pricier end but not much you can do about NW area. They also offer the deep fried rice paper springroll which is not a common thing to find in Viet restaurants so I love eating that whenever I come here.Last time I went, I accidentally spilled my tea cup and they automatically saw and cleaned the mess without me even mentioning it. I even subtly spilt it while sitting in a corner and they still came! Outstanding service!

I went here a couples time with my honey and experienced the service differently. Once time I ordered the deluxe soup in large size and it’s quite big. So, I couldn’t finish it. I asked for a Togo box. The lady in 50s gave me the box quickly and left with aggressive manner. I was shocked about it and I thought if the service couldn’t improve I would never come back this place. Lucky me, I experienced the best service as I expected. I remembered it’s a cold Saturday, the girl with short hair took the order for me. She is pretty and active. She got my order, then she brought the soup with a shinny smile. And this time I couldn’t finish my soup again. The girl asked me if I need a box. Then she gave me the box and asked me whether I could pack my soup. She helped me pour the soup into the container easily and quickly and then she cleared out all the bowls without forgetting ask me if I need more water. I was so impressed about the way she served me because last time I was disappointed with the manner of the lady in long black hair. I gave her 20% tips for the young girl and I hoped to see her in every my visit this restaurant because I like the soup and the service she gave me. I’ll come back more often to see the girl always happy with her sunny smile. Five stars for the girl!

Ordered a beef stew on Sunday morning at around 11:15 and end up need to wait until 11:35 to get the food. And the beef is not tender as it suppose to be.

The food is good like on average you will expect on Vietnamese restaurant. Portion is match with the price. Nowadays all Vietnamese restaurant raise the price before there is Pho for below $10 now it’s hardly to find one. What we feel disappointed is the service. When we trying to check out, we ask the server to bring the bill, she said “go front counter and pay it”. This immediately let us feel uncomfortable why we can’t pay on the table then you bring the terminal. We couldn’t understand. At the end we pay 0 tip on tonight bill. We probably won’t go here eating anymore unless the service is better.
