This restaurant is listed as “East African” and not Indian. This makes sense if you try the food. The curries do not have much flavour and are very mild. I see a lot of 5 star reviews from westerners who probably haven’t tried real Indian food or find it too intense.Still giving 3 stars because this is a good option for an affordable lunch. You get a good amount of food.The restaurant inside is very basic and seems relatively clean.
I grew up going to this restaurant occasionally. From the ages of 5 to 17, my family would regularly come here. I no longer live in Calgary, but I randomly remembered this restaurant, and I have so many good memories. The food here is amazing.

I like Tiffins, but the fried mogo is tough. I have mentioned to some of them about this several times and so has other people but no change has been made. Hoping some changes can happen in improving the fried mogo
