Ordered a pancake for my daughter this morning. My daughter started to eat it and the second pancake under was BURNT!We paid the right amount of the pancake but you tried to trick us hiding the burnt pancakes underneath so we don’t see it!What a strategy!!!!!!!!!!Give service that will make your customer happy! So disappointing!!!!!!

I went to get a lunch to go and chose Truffle Omelet with gf bun. However after paying $23.00, I took this small container with an egg sandwich!!!! I went back to check with them and no apologies for their error and they replace it with the real order. I must say the lunch was awesome and definitely worth the $23.00. However, I felt that they saw a diverse, non-white woman and did not think I deserved an apology. Saaad!!!

Went here for bunch with my friend. We waited about 30 mins for a table. Service was nice. The food took a while to come but it was worth the wait. I got the Truffle Mushroom Omelette and must say that its the Best Mushroom Omelette I’ve had! The portion was huge, I couldn’t finish the potatoes but other than that it was great! Would come back for that for sure!

The sourdough bread was amazing. The egg over purgatory could have had a wee bit more flavor

Coffee was bitter and not worth the money. The space itself is nice but I will not be coming back to grab a drink.

Such a cute spot to visit for brunch. Food, beverages and atmosphere are amazing. The patio is quite busy in the summer time. :)

Decline in Service and HospitalityAs a longtime patron of Vendome, I am deeply disappointed by the decline in both service and atmosphere that I have witnessed over the past year. Despite being a local to Sunnyside and having frequented Vendome for years, my recent visit left much to be desired.Upon arriving on a bitterly cold day, I asked for a table in the restaurant area due to the discomfort of sitting near the entrance, the server, identifiable by her Asian descent and distinctive silver tooth, led me to a table away from the bar without any acknowledgment of my preference. When my friend joined me later and we reiterated that we were only ordering drinks, the server's attitude turned notably sour.Instead of accommodating our simple request, the server curtly informed us that if we were only having drinks, we should sit at the front tables next time. This was communicated without any prior indication or consideration. When we explained our discomfort with sitting near the cold door, her response was dismissive and bordered on rudeness, repeatedly emphasizing that we should consider this for our next visit. What baffles me is Vendome's sudden insistence on prioritizing food orders over providing a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. It appears that unless one intends to order a meal, they are unwelcome in the restaurant section. The lack of inquiry about our dining preferences upon seating only adds to the frustration. In conclusion, I am left questioning when Vendome shifted its focus solely to food service, neglecting the inclusive hospitality it once prided itself on. The decline in service quality and the unwelcoming attitude displayed by the server have tarnished the once-enjoyable experience at Vendome. As a loyal customer, I sincerely hope to see improvements in both service and attitude in the future.

Really disappointing. The Eggs Benedict had the eggs poached so long that they were basically very hard boiled. The "creamsicle smoothie" was just frozen orange juice. The cookies were rock hard and sad. The service was very slow. Not worth the price, won't be back.

We tried this brunch restaurant a few weeks ago and were very impressed with the quality of food, service and atmosphere. The design of the decor is classy elegant and yet inviting to all. The staff is very and helpful.I’m sorry that I forgot to take a picture of the feature French toast hot chocolate for the month of February. It looked great and tasted delicious! We had the blue crab omelette and blue crab eggs Benedict. Very filling and the taste can’t be described… it’s an experience. Flavourful not salty just deliciousThank you to the staff our server Blaise and manager who made our experience a great one.

Solid 4.5.Service was good. Had the croque madame. Food was decent but I wouldn't say it's something to go out of your way for.

Food was not bad but service was very disappointing. Our food came 20 minutes after we ordered it and coffees came 5 minutes after…. That’s already a bad start. Then the server doesn’t check on us until manager says something to them. Half way through eating our food we realized there is a hair that’s not either one of ours in our food… didn’t let it bother us because my partner is a hair stylist and I’m not going to make a big deal out of it. We ate most our food before we figured it out anyways but we did point it out to the manager, got a verbal apology and nothing more. I work in the service industry and this was handled very poorly in my eyes.

Over all not a great experience. Asked for a coffee extra hot. Ordered our breakfast. It took a while to come but our coffee too even longer - had to ask the server to bring it to us when she dropped off the breakfast. Coffee was cold. Then almost finish eating and found a hair on the bottom of the plate under all the food. Took a while to get our bill. Charged full price for everything. Probably won't be back. Not the cute Valentine's Day brunch I had imagined.
