For the Montreal bagel connoisseur: Much closer to Fairmont than St Viateur.Bagels are top notch. Soft interior with a nice chew on the exterior. A nice little sweetness to the bread itself.Negative reviews seem to focused on the service. This is a bakery that happens to sell sandwiches. Put your expectations there. I can't imagine some of these "Montrealers" expecting to be waited on at St Viateur... Though I would love to see it lol.
Deserves to be busy with the great baked/boiled bagels available for sale. We don't usually eat here but pickup our order ... poppy seed are personal favorites. Short line up's later in the day & can be sold out of certain kinds by 11 am. Available at different locations around town, like Sunterra Market.

I ordered an eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The bagel was okay but eggs are not Benedict. It looked like they were cracked into a form and microwaved. I saw how they peeled it out of a silicon mold. And the eggs were rock solid. The sauce hollandaise was translucent and not what you expect a hollandaise to look or taste like.
