“Stopped by this lovely little bistro for an iced oat milk latté (delicious!). The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Theo showed me a bit around the historic building that he has restored with an obvious eye for detail. I love that they feature art by very talented local artists from Didsbury on their walls. And they have a sleek little side room that they can rent out for small gatherings or watercolor classes. The atmosphere is really nice too. Will definitely be back next time I am in town. ♡”

“Visiting from Ontario. The store was closed but the owner seen us looking in the window and opened the store for us. He let us taste and buy. Very friendly. Great tasting beer. “I had been told my lots of people how good the food is so I decided to try it for our caregiver get togethers that we have. There was over forty of us I never heard one complaint about anything. “We order dinner for 2, plus beef fried noodles, and salt and pepper squid for our family of 4 adults, and we all eat twice. Soooo good, call earlier in the day, and place a pre order. Always ready, fresh and hot. Service is always accurate and friendly. Lucky to have this gem in Didsbury.......highly recommend.”

“The employees here are so cheery and friendly! Always leave the drive thru with a smile on my face. My only grievances are that there are never jalapeño bagels (my usual order when living in Calgary) and the bagels never quite seem toasted when requested- they’re barely warmed.”

It surely does show an obvious improvement on how thee food over time and deserve a credit in that. At this point, I think it can compare to many Indian restaurants in Calgary.Also, I enjoy interacting with the staff and the owner. Overall, I really enjoy both the atmosphere and the food there.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian option (Aloo Gobi and Mixed Vegetables) offered for lunch special, which is a plate consists of salad, rice, naan and the main ingredient.”

There is an insane selection of board games to play or buy along with all the nerdy nick nacks you could ever want. Are you into Warhammer or model building? D&D? They have it all. “If you’re lucky enough to be in the beautiful town of Carstairs, Alberta on a warm sunny day you are absolutely required to hit up the baron. Eat at the tables outside, take it to the park, heck take it to a bench by the cemetery if you must, just enjoy this deliciousness and thank the heavens a place like this still exists. I spent two months in Carstairs in the summer of 2020 and i swear i ate the veggie burger every day. I ate so many they started inventing an entire secret vegan menu just for me. Next thing you know they were making me vegan pizza burgers, with vegan cheese and pineapples on it. Again, i was vegan and in Carstairs for two months, as you can imagine the options were pretty sparse. They went out of their way to do something special for me and I’ll never forget that. Amazing people, good food, great prices. i am a loyal subject of the baron.Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers, vegan cheese at least some of the time”

“Really cozy, small town coffee shop that has an awesome vibe to it. I could see myself sitting here for hours studying, reading or doing puzzles. The staff are amazing, super sweet and helpful, great service. The drinks are pretty good, their crunch coffee has got to be my favorite, with those chunks of skor bar in it, so good. Prices are reasonable. Perfect location right across from Olds College, plus students get a 10% discount when they show their ID. Haven't tried any of their food yet but it always looks good. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a good place to study or grab a coffee before continuing on their road trip.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options available which you can't find at everywhere.Parking: Good amount of parking to the front and side of the building, they also have a drive thru which is super convenient if you're in a hurry.”

When our friend's young child became overwhelmed with emotions, the owner kindly stepped in, picked him up, and took him on a brief tour, allowing our friends to have a few mins to eat their food, while helping calm down the little guy.The service and kindness we received were truly exceptional, and the quality of the food surpassed our expectations. The bruschetta and key lime pie were particularly outstanding, arguably the best we've ever had. “Never heard of this franchise before, but wanted Mexican and decided to try it based on reviews. I wasn't disappointed. The Chipotle Tofu Burrito was fresh and tasty. The track chips were crispy and tasty and didn't taste like your store bought chips. Tasted fresh. The staff (including the owner) was friendly and provided great service. All in all, the best fast food Mexican I've had.”
