The minestrone soup is SO GOOD. I would reorder from here just for the soup alone. The garlic bread was also delish as was the lemon cake. The pasta primavera was ok; I felt like it was missing a kick of something but not sure what.

We like this place. Really good value for the amount of food you get, especially if you get the platters. They say it feeds 10-12 adults but in our experience, it easily can feed about 20 adults with decent appetites. Only issue is that it's in a bit of a weird location and the last time our shrimp pesto pasta was a little soft, maybe overcooked as we prefer our pasta al dente. Overall still recommend this place and we experienced great service.

My absolute favourite place in the city to order food! Their pasta is delicious (best I’ve tried in Edmonton so far) & their service is always great. I’ve been frequenting Basil for nearly two years and haven’t been let down yet. Also there’s a stamp card system if you order directly from them!

ordered pasta with pesto and shrimp, never in my life have I eaten pasta in which the main taste of the pasta is in the dish. there was not even a smell from the pesto in the paste, the shrimp seemed to be simply boiled in water without salt, the whole dish tasted as if it had been forgotten to add salt, and the greens on top were not fresh and spoiled the whole dish with its bitterness. Came here based on uber and google reviews and was very angry after starting to eat. I have never eaten worse pasta in my life.
i'm using my boyfriends account to write this review!!i ordered the "thirsty? make it a combo" and got the fusilli, caesar salad, and i even got myself a cream soda and lemon cake.the pasta; UNREAL!! i love pasta and this was amazing. so saucy, cooked perfectly, cheesy goodness oh my. it was also a super big portion, i'm so happy i chose to order in. i'm always so hungry because i'm pregnant!! also, whoever packaged my food wrote the sweetest "enjoy the fusilli, love u, good night :)" on my pasta lid. thank you for making me smile.the caesar salad; i love caesar salad so this was just so perfect to nibble!!the lemon cake; i grew up always eating lemon sweets. but this cake was something else. it was sweet, tart, creamy, moist & soft. it made me feel like a little girl. brings back good memories.i'm eating as i write this but whoever packaged my food, and whoever made my food- THANK YOU. i was feeling sad and i was so hungry. this meal was to die for.10/10 would eat again! i'll convince my boyfriend to take me there to dine in person. amazing food & lovely workers. - brooklyn :-)

Dessert was missing. Oops too bad for you. Pasta was not salted. Ordered Carbonara. No sauce dry and tasteless. Do a pass on this one this. Could have ordered Famosa or Amore...wish I had..way better food.

A “must try” hidden gem!! This delicious pasta bar has all fresh ingredients, made to order dishes that are full of flavor.Real. Fresh. Delicious.Very friendly attentive staff/owners. The restaurant itself is spotless. Don’t let the location deter you.We will definitely eat here again when visiting Edmonton.

Really good food and extremely affordable. I tried the rose sauce ravioli and it was fantastic. The atmosphere and service are a little so so since this is located in the industrial area but otherwise the food is great.
