A very cute coffee shop. It was pretty tight inside so on busier days you might not be able to sit. They have a nice patio space for when the weather gets warmer.I was mostly impressed by the pastries. A lot of attention and care went into making them and they were above what you’d get at your average cafe.

The perfect "third place" to be outside of Home and School/Work. So sad that I only discovered this cafe before moving. I wish I had a bigger budget to buy one of everything in the pastry display case.Matcha tart = delicious, though is mild on the matcha flavourRosette cookie = tastes and feels like a giant piece of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal (my childhood favourite)EDIT: 1 month later, each time I visit I bring a new friend :)

Super busy on a Saturday morning, but totally delicious food and coffee. Get the flight, you won't be disappointed. Oh and a rosette cookie too (basically a giant cinnamon toast crunch!)

Food is top tier, atmosphere is top tier, service was slow but also the place was packed (like every table was full). Prices were reasonable and good for a cafe - most desserts $2 to like $7, most drinks around $4 to $7. For two to eat and get a drink it was $17. Overall, I will definitely recommend and go back!Wheelchair accessibility: Is quite a small place, likely not wheelchair accessible when it's rather full. Doorway includes sharp turn.

Whilst looking for a comfortable cafe to work from my Laptop, Boxcar is a perfect place for some quiet working or to meet with friends. Cool background music, lovely food and coffees, excellent service and the whole place including rest room was sparklingly clean. I will definitely be back and would recommend a visit to anyone wanting a nice place for a coffee!Parking: Plenty of parking outside, up the road or around the corner…

This has to be the coolest little coffee shop in Edmonton. I was blow away by the design when I walked in. It’s small, but really well done. And the cozy patio between the buildings is really cool!

Amazing experience every morning I come and I come almost every morning for my well needed double double happy juice.I’m quite sure I’m the record holder for most free coffees earned with the stamp card rewards program and there’s a reason for that. The staff and place are so welcoming and i enjoy the vibe and of course the coffeeKeep up the great work guys !!! ??

Cute little coffe shop, with a nice assortment of pastries. We had coffee sampler flights. There were a lot of choices and everything we picked was so good! Looking forward to warmer weather and coffee on their patio.

Adorable little cafe on a quiet street tucked behind the CN Railyard. Funky music, great patio (dog friendly,) good looking baked sweets in the case, and smooth, strong, delicious coffee served with a smile. This is a winning combination.Parking: 12-16 spots on the north side of the avenue.

I really enjoy this little place on my way to work. I don't go often, but when I do, it's delicious. The pastries & desserts are wonderful & the drinks are great. Only quibble is that service is a bit slow. I've been in when busy & when not busy and it's always slow. Otherwise, great friendly tasty

The Boxcar is on the other side of the city for us but we had a reason to be in this area which made for a great opportunity to stop in. I'm glad we did. I ordered the Peanut butter & Jam sandwich. It was delicious, albeit a bit messy. There were sliced strawberries to go with the strawberry jam. It was almost good enough to make the long drive here worth the effort. My partner ordered the breakfast sandwich. She said it was good but not special and kind of small, although priced according. Actually all of the prices were very reasonable. If you come be sure to check out the washroom. It's clean and a visual experience not to be missed. We ordered drip coffees which were good but not extraordinary. The cups are unique because they don't have handles but despite this they didn't get hot on the hand. All in all this was a good stop for us. Too bad the Boxcar is so far away as I would love to have another PB&J. Check it out. There's a large patio for the summer too.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cozy intimate and nice coffee shop on the north side of Edmonton. The place is inviting comfortable chairs. There is a patio and open to bring your dog. The coffee was perfectly made and the sweet treat was delicious. I highly recommended visiting this place. You won't be disappointed.

Coffee is good but they should provide 0 percent milk or 1 percent lots of people don't like 2 percent milk .
