I've been there twice now, in the last 5 days and I'm still astonished. Their pastries are unreal. It's a little bit of home, away from home! Love it! Can't wait to try everything else they make!
It is hard to imagine we have such a hidden gem in Edmonton. Having moved from Europe I missed the decadence of authentic Italian pastries. Canova's quality and attention to detail is second to none, especially from what I have seen in North America; their standards rival the pastry chefs in Roma not Edmonton. Thank you for your amazing artistry!

Have you had their biscotti?! They are absolutely wonderful and better than some of the ones that you can find around the city. Not too sweet, with just enough chocolate coating on top. I also enjoy their special holiday panettone! Its light and fluffy, unlike the cheap ones you can find in a box. They have many different products and flavours, and when I need something for an event, I call up Canova!
