The strawberry chocolate cupcakes were topped with a chocolate covered strawberry and were so moist and just the right amount of sweet, the cookies and cream cupcakes were topped with decadent macarons and brought me back to my childhood, and the gluten free vanilla cupcakes were delicious. “Little Duchess in Ritchie is the smaller sister of the large bakery on 124 Street. They have many of the same pastries and dishes as the larger one. This one shares a space with a few other businesses (butcher, coffee shop, restaurant, etc.). The staff is always friendly and happy to give recommendations. It's nice to see that the area is getting more local things to check out! The space is inclusive and all on one level - which makes easy access for wheelchairs and walkers. There is street parking around the area, which is sometimes quite busy, so you tend to have to park and then walk a bit to your final destination. Worth stopping in for sure.“

She asked where I was from and we even shared previous travel destinations. Very friendly service !Coming from Montreal where there are so many French bakeries around the competition is very fierce. That said Choccorant has a great recipe, and they seem to be doing quite well for themselves. I ordered a few boxes of croissants for a work event, and I even had a few myself during my stay. They are very delicious and crunchy and I think Edmonton is very lucky to have them make such a good version of the croissant.I would have hoped the sandwich would have been made with more care and finesse (the spreading of the cranberries and the generosity of the Brie and turkey. Alas, it’s all good.Parking: It appears there is a 10 or 15 minute parking voucher you can get from the machine which is great if you’re only going to be ordering something in and out. Otherwise, if you’re staying longer, you can pay for the appropriate time at the machine.“

“Was craving a good matcha dessert and came to Tsujiri. There are a lot of matcha dessert options from soft cream to lattes. I opted to get the mix soft cream to try the matcha and houjicha (roasted green tea) flavors. They were both nice and rich in flavor. Ordering was super easy and I really enjoyed the pictures on the menu so I could visualize what the dessert look like. Ambiance was pretty nice too I could see it being a nice study spot or a spot to meet friends! I do think the desserts are a little on the pricier end but I think if you're craving a good matcha dessert, Tsujiri is a good option to consider!“

“This hidden gem has some of the most delicious baked goods I have ever tried. My staple go to’s are the ham and cheese bun (my absolute favourite), the honey garlic smoky, jalapeño cheddar smoky, empanadas, and for sweets the Nutella bun and the blueberry bun. The breakfast bun (bacon and egg) is also a great filling breakfast option. I can get all of this in multiples for UNDER $20!!! The food is always so fresh and so delicious, and the staff are always extremely friendly and thoughtful with a huge smile on their face. Everything we selected was made fresh and tasty with lovely ingredients and attention to detail. “Although most of the products are delicious, you might not get a chance to buy them. Some of the products, especially the baguettes, are gone by 11:00am. This isn’t just during the holidays (we came numerous times between 11am and 1pm). Many customers order in advance and there aren’t any left for those who spontaneously come into the bakery. I also agree with another reviewer that the frozen baguettes should be priced lower then the fresh baguettes. These are baguettes that have been baked and then frozen. A defrosted baguette does not taste the same as a fresh one. There is a 2% charge if you use a credit card which is something I have no problem with. The store has a good selection of imported cheeses.“
