Edo is a good choice for a relatively healthy and tasty lunch. The quality is consistent from location to location. However, the quantity at the Bonnie Doon mall is subpar to any other Edo I've visited. The veggies in particular were scant, and the chicken and rice were also a tad short of the expected quantity. Of course, restaurant outlets in a mall are often not up to par with neighborhood outlets.
The employees were unfriendly and kept fooling around like children. I tried to order one combo and was told they had NO SUSHI prepared, and that I would need to wait 20 mins in order to have that made. There were atleast 4 staff working at the time and nobody else was in line. I don't understand how you run out of sushi two hours before you're closed. And around dinner time, when California rolls are one of your more popular items. The entire staff could benefit from being retrained...read full review

I generally like Edo Japan: a beef yakisoba is often a comfort food of choice and my most recent visit here is no exception. My kid loved my beef and attempted to eat it all while I mostly ate the noodles. Service was simple and quick.
