As someone who is basically allergic to most things and has such severe dietary restrictions. It is such a breath of fresh air to walk into a bakery and find food that I can eat. There is labels with all the ingredients and the staff are so kind, friendly and very helpful!Dietary restrictions: Good for gluten-freeLots of vegan options

I ordered a loaf of their bread online and went to pick it up today. When I lifted it up, it weighs 3 times as much as a normal loaf of GF bread. Got home and did the ultimate GF bread test which is trying it not toasted. It is friggin amazing. It tastes like a normal loaf of high end bread. Its also organic and you can pronounce all the ingredients, meaning not a bunch of chemicals and preservatives. Its well worth the price and I will be ordering it again.

Decent gluten free items, but not "amazing". Unfortunately I would classify the baked goods as "obviously gluten free" - meaning you can tell it is gluten free and doesn't taste like it's gluten-containing original. Perhaps it is because they combine both dairy and gluten free ingredients rather than simply a gluten free version and a gluten free+dairy free version. For example, the carrot muffin is good but the icing absolutely destroys the entire taste of the muffin. A carrot muffin with classic cream cheese icing would have made this item a 5/5, but the icing on it pretty much turned me off to the entire thing Regardless, it is a nice treat to find a gluten free bakery and I'll likely return if I'm seeking out a treat.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

I discovered this little gem of a bakery just over a year ago now. I can say going there once a week is definitely one my weekly highlights. The staff and owner are delightful and very accommodating. Every pastry, donut and cake is so delicious. The yam coconut bacon perogies are my favourite along with the banana bread chocolate cake. Oh let’s not forget the pumpkin tumeric donut and the old fashion donut. I almost forgot Gus’s bread. This little gem of a bakery is a must try!

Amazing food but disorganized business. I'm not from edmonton and the last time I was here I visited this bakery for the first time. The food is SO amazing, especially the chicken salami sandwich. I love that they use high quality, healthy ingredients and it's definitely reflected in the flavors! I had been looking forward to coming back to the bakery for the past 7 months when I'd be here for the holidays, but I was here for 2.5 weeks and wasnt able to get the sandwich :( First the Cafe was closed for extended (not regular holiday closures) periods over Christmas and then new years (which werent listed on google so I didnt find out until I had driven out there) and the one time I did come in they didn't have the salami (the best part!) in stock. Then next time I called they didn't have the sandwiches, then I called again a few days later and still missing ingredients until after my trip would be over.I just think it's really unprofessional to not be able to serve customers the one savory thing on the menu for 2.5 weeks. Super disappointing -- I can't help but think that with a little forethought and planning, situations like this could be avoided. I love this place so much but I've definitely lost respect for them due to this experience. So just a word to the wise for other customers - don't get your hopes up that you'll get the items you're excited for.

Damn that was good!Happens every time.... After we eat it, we say "Oh damn, we should've taken a picture of them first! So we can let people know how great baking is here." A definite gem within the city for us.

My girlfriend & her dad went to pick up some food for Christmas Eve- they got the Carrot muffins, Choc Banana cake, Assorted Christmas Cookies, and white buns.My girlfriend was raving about how cute and delicious the bakery smelled inside. She also said the young staff members were a delight. But the baked goods- oh my god. For gluten free that is unreal. 10/10. Definitely will stop by some time to get my girlfriend some snackies from here.

Love this bakery. I drive all the way from the West just to get their baked goods. Gus’ bread is so delicious and their pies are to die for. Highly recommend to those on a Paleo lifestyle. I also want to mention that the staff are so great. Always friendly and helpful.

OMG! What a find! I was so excited to realize I could eat ANYTHING in the store!!! I received a taste of the bread, best gluten free bread I have ever eaten.!!! I have so many beautifully presented choices, very unusual for me. Impeccably clean location, unbelievable customer service and the nod to Christmas is so tastefully done. Love the fact its open Sundays, my only shopping day. I can hardly wait to try more items next week. My new favorite place in Edmonton.Dietary restrictions: Ifor those with dairy restrictions! Heaven!!!Parking: Lots of parking available.Kid-friendliness: Seems very kid friendly

Amazing. First time here was last week and I wasn't kidding with the lady working when I said I was kicking myself in the butt for not coming here sooner. This is a celiac's dream. Although it was the cinnamon bun reviews that brought me in, it was the delicious pumpkin pie that will keep me coming back. I'm not sure what cookie was given to my almost 2 yr old daughter (who got a quick tour of the back!), but it was also delicious. The hospitality and the baked goods were fantastic. Thank you!

Walked into this place while waiting for our table at a nearby brunch restaurant. Let me say, WOW! The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was amazing and I don’t even like oatmeal cookies. We also tried the brownie and they asked if we wanted a centre or side piece. Amazing service, would highly recommend this place

It's hard to find good gluten free baked goods, let alone a gluten free bakery. This place is a true gem. Everything I've purchased here has been top quality and delicious. Thank you!

I find any excuse to come to Edmonton from Vancouver to visit this place and stock up on the delicious treats and food. We have nothing like this in Vancouver (I know shocking)! It truly is a gem - the owner Chrysta is unbelievably passionate about the ingredients that go into the food and the overall result of the food her and her team produces. This place is a real treat! Not only is it so adorable bur the food is top notch!! I'm so picky about what I put in my body and I'm gluten free so this place is paradise. Thank you for building a wonderful business and serving your community with good quality food!

I tried a Banana Muffin with Chocolate Icing, and it was heaven. I have a very sensitive stomach and allergies, so it is hard to find safe foods. This was delicious and no symptoms afterwards. It is pricey so I have to budget this place in for special occasions. Bravo!
