Used to be 5 stars and our favorite ramen place in the city. Something has changed in the last year and not for the better in my opinion. Could be a change in cook or the recipes themselves. Either way we won't be back.

This place is something else. Great staff, great environment. Super chill great food. Oh, did I mention the staff? Great people, will be here everyday for the rest of my life.

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night, place was empty but seemed very popular for take out. Service was good and we really enjoyed the beef tataki, gyoza and ramen. Would definitely return.

The kiwado roll was tasty, but the ramen was mediocre. Server was friendly and warm but, food took awhile to come.

Sushi boat was great value - for $39 you get more than enough sushi for two people. The fried spicy tuna roll was also delicious. Also tried the stir fry upon which was ok but nothing special. They could use more staff as service is a bit slow but I think everywhere is readjusting to dine in service now post lock down. Overall good experience.

We got the Ta Lo Men ($15) Ramen bowl and it was AMAZING, no MSG and an 8 hour broth. If you don't live around here I highly suggest the drive - it is utterly worth it!

Server was fantastic. Good was affordable and delicious. Pleasant conversation also! Will definitely return!

Pre-order your food might have to wait awhile. Come in for lunch instead of dinner to avoid sold out items.

My boyfriend and I love trying out Japanese restaurants and we just discovered this place yesterday, (wish it was sooner!) the food is very affordable and is really good! I had their Tonkatsu Ramen and it is by far the best ramen I had. Highly recommended!! This will definitely be our go to place from now on

Kiwado is a hole in the wall located by the hospital. The restaurant offers a variety of Japanese options. Inside the restaurant is small and not very well decorated. The food is decently priced so are the options. We ordered sushi combo and the bento boxes. Overall the meal was mediocre from taste to price and the experience.
Great sushi with awesome experimental rolls at a great price. Will definitely be back!

Support this business! Great for and good prices, I am safely calling this place our Edmonton sushi spot.

This is by far the freshest sushi in the city. I have never had a bad experience. When we are able to eat in the restaurant, the staff is always amazing! Can't wait to eat in restaurant again. The atmosphere is always pleasant. Highly recommended ?

Ordered from uber eats, sushi and sashimi were very good. The only issue was that I think the ginger and the daikon may have been a bit old, hope it's fresher next time.

Rolls are mostly rice, volcano roll is just the tempura shrimp roll with a scant amount of hot sauce. Underwhelming experience overall.
