Restaurants in Hardisty

“We were camping at Hardisty Lake Campground on the Thursday before Rodeo weekend and decided to visit The Leaf for supper and a cold beer. We arrived about 6PM, it was reasonably busy on the bar side - didn't look in the restaurant side. There was a person tending the bar when we arrived, but she left shortly after. That left just two servers to cover the bar side table service, one person covering the restaurant and one of the two bar side people doubling up as the bar tender. Recognizing that the manager likely had to schedule more people on Friday and Saturday, it did leave the Thursday servers short-handed. That said, IMO, they did a great job.
The beer was nice and cold. The food was hot and pub grubby. Exactly what we were looking for.
If we visit Hardisty again, we would definitely go back to The Leaf.”

“Proper chinese food with a massive menu. Owners are really sweet and i was surprised to see how many pick up orders there were. Must have been 6 separate people picking up while we were eating. Awesome to see theyre doing well. Good sized portions but im a bottomless pit so i always want more.”
