I adore this place, it is that wholesome kind of dive with great food and dated decor that I long for. I hadn't been back in a year and a half and saw new faces behind the counter. The hostess was so friendly, but I reserved judgement... And was in no way disappointed. I ordered the fish and chip with gravy. The cod was good for Alberta, the French fries, slaw and gravy were on par if not better than before. I am happy to say with those new faces there is no lack in care or quality....read full review

We ordered fish - cod and halibut - and chips and they tasted really good. The fish was crisp and fried just right. Also, the two owners were very friendly and provided excellent service. Will definitely return again when we go to Calgary.
