Arctic Roadrunner Reviews
Not the same quality as years ago. “Halibut” sandwich was some chopped, formed tasteless fish patty, not the dense, thick, white fillet that is a halibut burger. Potato soup crowned with bacon also offered, at the counter, sour cream and a choice of crackers, none of which were provided, for a soup with an aftertaste that I hope to never encounter again. I have eaten chili cheese fries from here to the east coast...this was the saddest CC fries i have had. about 2 ounces of chili...about 13...14 fries...with a little bit of cheese tossed in the corner. Sure their burgers are decent (beyond the occasional ice cold bun i have had) but dang, these chili cheese fries are a sad one. you would find a better one at wendys
Always good food! Best shakes

Arctic Roadrunner is a popular spot known for good food at a reasonable price. The portions are generous, especially the Lord Baranof and Kenai Whopper. The Atu with cheese is a small but filling option. Their old-fashioned burgers are a signature delight, and the homemade fries are great. Vegetarians can enjoy a customized BLT on sourdough bread, and the homemade milkshakes and hand-dipped onion rings are highly recommended. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a vintage vibe, including outdoor eating by the creek with umbrella tables. The fireplace adds to the comfortable setting, and the place is clean and well-maintained, especially around the condiments section. The rustic decor reflects Alaska's history and offers a beautiful creek view. The Arctic Cheeseburgers are cooked quickly for a fast and tasty meal. The blackberry milkshakes are now a favorite among many guests. Staff members are very pleasant, making the experience even better. Though it is cash only, there is an ATM on site. For those visiting or returning to Alaska, it is a perfect first stop, offering a nostalgic and authentic Alaskan experience. Overall, Arctic Roadrunner remains a great place for casual dining, creating many fond memories over the years.
