“One of these days I will try all of the amazing things on the menu... but for the last 10 years I've been getting half a barbecue shrimp po boy and a side of chicken sink gumbo. Haven't been disappointed yet! ?Gumbo House is a wonderful local restaurant with the friendliest owners. I miss the days when they had a Southside location but I still faithfully make the pilgrimage downtown to get my usual at least a couple times a year.“
“Stopped in for a quick bite and beer and wow, what a great place! Table next to us was enjoying some of the largest crab legs I’ve seen served. We had the lobster dip with some of the yummiest bread I’ve had in a long time. Lots of local beers, cans, bottles and tap. Owner catted with us and she is so friendly and engaging.
