Taste as good as it smells 😋
order: Turkey Cobb sandwich(Turkey, bacon, avocado, cheese, lettuce, onion and tomato, blue cheese sauce. ordered no onion, no blue cheese(mayo instead) and extra tomato
recieved: no bacon, no extra tomato(I hope 3 half slices is not extra which cost an extra $1) and half a teaspoon of mayo
no markings of what was ordered on tag sealing sandwich
it's painfully obvious that the help doesn't listen and cannot write.

Great Harvest Bread Co. in Anchorage is a popular spot known for its fresh bread and delicious sandwiches. Customers often praise the friendly and kind staff who provide great service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors. The bakery offers a variety of baked goods, including fresh bread loaves, cookies, brownies, bars, and scones, along with tasty sandwiches like turkey on sliced sourdough and grilled cheese. Many reviewers enjoy the coffee and find the sandwiches satisfying, though some mention that the prices can be a bit high, and the punchcard doesn't fully cover the cost of a sandwich. Visitors appreciate the excellent sourdough loaves with tender crusts and dense crumb, and the cinnamon bun with icing is described as spectacular. The bakery offers free bread samples, often a whole slice with butter, which customers love. Some reviews highlight special breads such as peanut butter chocolate chip and cinnamon swirl, which are so good that people buy extra to take home or on flights. To avoid waiting during busy times, it’s recommended to order ahead, and online ordering is available.
Recent reviews mention that the cinnamon rolls were a little dry, and the scones had a bread-like texture instead of a true scone. One reviewer also observed an employee making bread without gloves, touching dough after using their phone, raising concerns about sanitation. Customers continue to enjoy the wide variety of fresh breads and pastries, with many praising fast and friendly service. The free slice of bread with purchases is still appreciated, and the cheese loaf is noted as delicious even after three days. The store is clean, with plenty of seating, and offers a great selection of baked goods and sandwiches, perfect for breakfast or lunch, with the added treat of a free cookie.
