Hearth Artisan Pizza Reviews
Long wait for mediocre. First time stopping by & last time. Fennel sausage was tasty, but textured like dried wet cat food. Other toppings were nothing special. How on earth do you make a crust that’s tough, hard & flimsy at the same time?!?! Hard to bite through, more than crunchy on the edges, but still couldn’t support the sparse toppings, Is that the “artisan” part? It’s like a less tasty version of L’aroma pizza, but more expensive & 20 years later.
A great restaurant when in Anchorage! I know everyone raves about Moose's Tooth but, I would go to Hearth over the crowded and busy atmosphere of Moose's Tooth. Selection was great, service was super friendly and no wait time!
I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hearth. The staff were kind, attentive, and provided great recommendations. The beet salad was delightfully unique and a fun sweet and earthy summer dish. We had the sweet Carmela pizza which was loaded up with yummy toppings with artisan crust. The chocolate torte was divine and unfortunately not pictured because we dug into too quickly ☺️
