Food was great - got country fried steak, corn beef hash skillet, pancakes. Came out hot and hit the spot. Waitstaff were pleasant and attentive. Aesthetic is more modern which I'm getting used to. I still prefer the cozy feel of traditional diner decor, whereas this feels more like a dentist office but I get it - clean look and care! Only things were that the coffee was weak for me and the kitchen was a bit intense. We sat across from it and could hear tension of the busy brunch service, even affecting waitstaff that at one point shouted back from across the floor "Give me a minute!" But if you're good with hustle and bustle, the place stays hopping and cranks out good stuff.

Visiting from Vegas and this breakfast spot is amazing. Very large, tasty, hearty portions. Staff is very responsive and quick. Absolutely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Heidi's is the real deal. Heidi has taken care of my family at other restaurants and now I'm so glad she has her own. The people at Heidi's treat you with such respect. The food is uppercrust! I cannot say enough about Heidi's Restaurant! Thank you Heidi!

The restaurant was very clean, and the open floor plan combined with the vinyl flooring and vinyl booth fabrics made it feel sterile. The tables are well stocked and organized.The food was good, not great. No one at my table raved about anything that was ordered, but everyone gave it an average to above average review. No one said anything was exceptional. Which for a breakfast place isn't necessarily a bad thing. Portion sizes were average, and i was glad to see they didn't put huge portions on like some other breakfast places in Anchorage. The coffee was passable but not great.Service was fast and friendly, and we never waited for anything. Our beverages were kept filled without us asking, and we didn't have to flag anyone down for a check.
