This place reminds me of lunches my Nonna would make back in New York.The Mufaletta sandwich was out of this world amazing. Excellent portions of cheese, meats, and spread. Their Cannolis are also some of the best I’ve had, with a perfectly baked pastry and rich filling.I’m not fluent in Italian but my ear perked up when I heard it being spoke and I felt like I was at home. “Wonderful experience overall was blown away by the appetizer plate! I wasn't sure that the portions would be worth the money, let alone the food, but it certainly is and I would easily get it again. My partner and I had both had the Orso Occo Buco, it was some of the best food I've had in a while. Fall off the bone with no shortage of food to go around. I got the Italians in Washington wine flight and it was smooth and easy on the palate for red wine. I really enjoyed how I got a card with what to expect and pair the wines with as well. Fairly cheap wines from the same company but tasted great nonetheless.“

My date at the time only had thirty minutes to have a break from work. This place had a table and pizza ready when we got there. If that’s not service, I don’t know what is. Sometimes you get the short straw, and sometimes you get lucky and get to sit idly by while someone else plunges the rest stop bathroom. I was fortunate to get the top floor suite, equipped with a bidet. You had the fairgrounds porta-potty, for which I apologize. Tonight sicilys did God's work. And for that. I'm grateful. 5 stars to a restaurant that tonight; should have been put up for a Michelin Star.“
