I'm in Alaska for work every month and typically don't review or even go to hotel bars. Generally it's disappointing. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the Ptarmigan Bar and Grill which is located inside the Sheraton Hotel. It had a great ambience and pleasant service. The food was good! The service was quick and the servers are friendly. Chill bar inside of the Sheraton hotel, chill music, and comfortable chairs to relax in. Has a lounge feel to it

I ordered the caribou burger medium rare with crispy Applewood smoked bacon and a small side salad. It was absolutely delicious- moist, not too greasy and flavorful. I would order it again. So now I've added caribou to my list of other burgers - elk, camel, and bison. Bon Appétit!
