“One of these days I will try all of the amazing things on the menu... but for the last 10 years I've been getting half a barbecue shrimp po boy and a side of chicken sink gumbo. Haven't been disappointed yet! ?Gumbo House is a wonderful local restaurant with the friendliest owners. I miss the days when they had a Southside location but I still faithfully make the pilgrimage downtown to get my usual at least a couple times a year.“
“Amazing eggs benedict, fresh fruit, and biscuits and gravy. Chrisp, delicious hashbrowns. Family friendly. Super accomodating to my 2.5 year old toddler- did sausage and fresh fruit on the side. Really nice, polite waitstaff as well. Diego is a great waiter there.“
