“Walked in today, craving a meatball sub. Service was fast and very friendly. Store was clean. Our subs were delicious, as were the cookies. I really liked the new option of fresh mozzarella! Will definitely be back to this location, especially since the store smelled so nice.. I typically avoid Subways because of the burnt cheese smell the comes from their bread ovens. But this store is clearly doing a good job of keeping things clean.“
“The Subway team (located in the Elmendorf PX) is absolutely wonderful! Their customer service is top tier. I love how they provide a personal connection with regulars that visit the store often. “Went in for some easy dinner after a 12 hour work day at 830pm on a monday. The employees on shift were super friendly. Extra attentive to requests for various amounts of vegetables, and made me laugh while making my sandwich. I immediately want to make a point to come back around the same time so I can continue to have great experiences at the restaurant. I'm sad i cant remember their names, but those employees are the little EXTRA that made the difference between ordinary and extraordinary. Kudos to them! ??“

“My husband and I went here this weekend. I asked for a footlong on Italian herbs and cheese (obviously).The worker asked me what meat I wanted.I said, “turkey please!”The worker said, “turkey?”And I said “yeah, turkey”The worker then proceeded to grab ham. I was a little upset, but I figured the worker had accidentally grabbed the wrong meat (they look pretty similar) and it was already on the sandwich so I didn’t want to be wasteful. I didn’t say anything. However, when they rang us up, they rang it up as ham. Which made me FURIOUS. I’m not a boomer, so I didn’t say anything, but I was mad. How rude of them to clarify the meat selection with me THREE TIMES, and then grab the wrong meat on purpose! How dare they?!But then I got home…. After sulking for a while and not eating the sandwich out of spite, I finally decided to go for it. I was cranky and definitely went into it ready to hate it.Here’s where it all changes…It was the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Honest to god. That worker didn’t care what I wanted. They gave me what I NEEDED and I will be forever grateful. I got another ham sandwich today. 10/10, above and beyond, spectacular.“

“When it comes to Subway in Anchorage THIS IS THE PLACE! The good vibe starts when you walk in the door and every customer is greeted by an employee, who are always quick and courteous, handling lunch crowds with great efficiency. I know it seems overrated at times to some, but it’s my favorite. Not only the food which is absolutely amazing, but the customer service. We go out of our way to come to this location 2-3 times a week even if we're working across town! Most people go to Subway for the food but we come here for the people!! I want to recognize the workers at the Subway on the corner of International Airport Road and C Street who always provide my coworkers and I with a First Class experience. From their beautiful smiles and positive attitudes to their attention to detail with your food, Sandra and Marissa go out of their way to make each visit just as memorable as the last! I am truly grateful that these young women always go above and beyond in providing not just good, but truly excellent service!! They deserve praise. Compared to other fast food, this Subway store is a clear 5-star!!!“

“Subway is Subway, nothing fancy yet is a decent sandwich. And although there is nothing such as perfect there makes a difference when an establishment tries. There is a saying, "what makes a good carpenter is one that can fix there mistakes so that it seems as one was never made". Well here at Subway on Spenard there is such a person. One that not only goes above the standards of customer service so that you would think you were back in the times customer service mattered. But also when made a minor mistake quickly was apologetic, Instead of trying to blame the customer even though I was perhaps not as clear as I could of been and so was willing to pay half the cost to get a sandwich I had requested to begin with. She replied with a warm smile "oh no that was my mistake and you shouldn't have to pay". So quickly made a new one again with a smile and good spirits the entire time. Me being a middle aged man knows that she is not being paid what she should but she takes pride in her work and her rate of pay makes no difference on how she performs her duties. The entire time I sat here eating and looking out at the passing vehicles and bustling people going about the day. She was either laughing while she helped a customer, or had a sanitized wash cloth and cleaned away. This is an employee that Subway, I would hope recognizes, and that her generation should take notes from. As this is the work ethic that we should all strive for. I did not ask her last name but her first is Audrey. She was working the afternoon shift on January 25th approximately @ 2pm“
“Great service I had to wait a little bit for my takeout order, however, that was yesterday and they were extremely busy and only had two people working. One of their employees has worked there for 4 years and does great under pressure. The food is excellent and this is probably the best Subway in town“
