Hidden gem on UAA campus. You have to enter the Alaska Airlines Center and ascend the elevator to find the place. Actually reminds me of the type of restaurants often found at Disney Resorts: Clean, well-appointed, with attentive service and fantastic views, but pretty standard food. The Varsity Sports Grill never disappoints. I have eaten many different dishes over the years and have yet to have anything I didn’t like. I really like the way it hey do their buffets for shows and concerts.

Nice atmosphere. Had a short amount of time to eat, but the food service was quick. I chose the French dip after seeing the reviews here. Was not disappointed. Food is a little expensive for a lunch, but the food quality, location, and atmosphere made it not as much of a focus. I would eat here again.
