“I’ve been a steady customer since this cafe opened. Their food is delicious! Not one bad item on their menu. The coffee is very good as well, but more importantly, this has to be the friendliest of any restaurant I’ve been to. They go out of their way to help you. There’s plenty of seating (they have a back room for overflow). The atmosphere is homey and very clean. If you’re a first time customer, you’ll be hooked and come again and again and . . .”

“I really can't pick one thing I like most about Tinkers and her wonderful ladies! Since I was introduced about 5 years ago it has quickly become my most favorite spot to go, much a wonderful environment, whether you go for a coffee and a sandwich or a smoothie and a bowl of soup, they have nothing but positive energy and happiness for everyone who stops in! not only that they are super gracious when people request food/soup ideas even if it's a challenge they make it happen! LOVE LOVE LOVE TINKERS!”

“We went to Eagle River for a couple days for a concert. We had brunch here on day 1- first, the decor is lovely, inviting and very clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Their brunch menu had so many delicious options! I had a crab Benedict that was the best I’ve ever had… the hollandaise was most definitely made fresh from scratch, the potatoes were packed with flavor. Oh and We had pomegranate juice mimosas. Truly phenomenal experience. I will definitely be back! I was really surprised when we went out later, some locals had said it was spendy but it seemed reasonably priced with everywhere else we went. In fact, we went to brunch at a different restaurant on day 2 by recommendation (because it was “not so expensive”,) and I was very disappointed. I got a chicken fried steak breakfast that was only $1 less than the crab Benedict the day before at C&H, and well needless to say- it was just frozen food fried and boxed gravy (not even the good boxed stuff) For only $1 less than a fresh CRAB dish! I will definitely be back for Corks and Hops brunches after every single trip we make up there now!! It was absolutely fresh incredible flavors, oh and did I mention just as affordable as the other options, but with far more exceptional quality. I wish there was one in my town!”

“We came to Jimmy’s Sushi for the first time in years… I don’t know why we forgot about this gem! Everything we ordered was delicious! You know the food is good when your pre-schooler avoids the rice for the rest of his bento box! I ordered the Penang curry after recommendations from the server that it was gluten free and it was delectable! My husband has his typical favorite, the General Tso and thoroughly enjoyed it. The knowledgeable staff to accommodate my need for gluten free food was impressive and SO appreciated. I’m ready to come back to Jimmy’s asap.”

“Food was quite tasty for a little order-at-the counter spot. Good spices and flavors in both the meals we ordered. They make everything fresh to order which is awesome but because of that be prepared to wait about 20 min for your food after you order.”

“I’ve traveled extensively across the United States and tried countless pizzas, but after living in Eagle River for nine years, Great Alaska Pizza Co. will always be my top choice whenever I return to visit. Although many people have come and gone from the store since I was younger, my family has a special connection there—we were well-known among the staff. Each visit brings back a sense of being home, and it’s something we truly cherish.

The food is consistently delicious, and I find myself missing it whenever I have to order from elsewhere. Their Hawaiian pizza with mushrooms is simply unbeatable!”

“This is a lovely, unassuming restaurant hidden in a strip mall. It is a casual dining place with nice touches to create a sense of an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Our server was knowledgeable and gently helped guide our choices (soy free for me) and spiciness for my dining partner. The food was delicious - I’m glad we decided to stop by. We will be back!”

“This is our families go to for food in Eagle River. My kids birthday dinner…they want Kim’s! I didn’t want to cook dinner…Kim’s! We want a variety of different food…Kim’s! Even when they are jam packed, their service is quick, everyone’s nice, and you feel like you’re home. So if you haven’t checked this place out yet you need to!”

“I'm a "coffee snob" and have had Ameicanos from Maine to Spain and no other shop I've been to compares to the quality and consistency of Jitters. Been coming here for many, many years and have never been disappointed! Lot of good coffee places in Alaska, but this place is by far the best.”

“Perfect afternoon pick me up.I always get a nice greeting and hot latte. They have a great syrup selection sometimes it’s hard to choose what flavor. I love the loyalty card is electronic and not a punch card that I lose. Fast, delicious and Nice people. Go to Blondies Espresso :)”

“Absolutely enjoyed the customer service and coffee at Central Perk. I’m visiting from Oklahoma, but when I come back, I’ll definitely be stopping here again. I asked lots of questions and even asked for a recommendation of “weird flavor combos” and they answered every one with a smile! I ordered a Vanilla Rose Latte with oat milk per their recommendation and it’s delicious! They brightened my morning and put a smile on my face :)”

“Starbucks is one of my rare treats! They always have a few seasonal hit or iced seasonal coffees as well as good old standbys. They also are pretty creative at request combinations. Starbucks - great place for a coffee treat!”

The pizza and staff were both stellar and this definitely will not be our first visit to this little spot in Eagle River.
