Good grief, Alaska Kitchen has some good pork! It was -13 the day I showed up to grab some lunch. I wasn't even sure anyone would be in the truck but saw a car parked nearby so thought I'd give it a shot. When I pulled up, I saw a smiling face in the window so I made my way over. There were several pork dishes and a pork bowl special to choose from. I decided on the sliders even though it took me forever to make up my mind. I wanted them but thought three sliders were too much for lunch. By the time I was done, I was practically licking the wax paper the little buns were wrapped in. The pork is smoky and tender (and generously filled in the sandwiches). The little Hawaiian buns are soft and fresh and overly full. Topped with fresh slaw and a drizzle of BBQ sauce. Served with sweet pickles and chips. Yum! Can't wait to go back!

Best sandwich I've had in a while! Lots of fresh veggies in my chicken salad, good quality chicken, and a delicious buttery toasted bun. $10 for chicken or egg salad sandwich, $12 for reindeer or pulled pork. I think she's new- left her cooler of beverages at home, but I forgive her because the sandwich was perfect.
